I haven't been to Azerbaijan since Soviet times, everything has changed a lot, Baku is a very beautiful city with a history. Therefore, we chose a hotel in the city center to take a walk at any time. Nearby there is a pedestrian street, the Caspian Sea embankment, many cafes, restaurants and attractions.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location. But the rest is a solid three. It is noticeable that the building is old and is sandwiched between narrow, high-density streets. The cleanliness in the room is below average, there are few nishtyaks, and the cleaning is also poor.
The ventilation is clogged with hanging dust 🤦🏻♂️
The breakfast is also quite modest with poor untimely table cleaning.
But these disadvantages are significant if you are sitting in a room. But for those who came for a walk, it doesn't matter. At the expense of the maid's tip), they left a few manats to clean the room. But the effect was reversed. Some of the towels were gone, tea, coffee, sugar, and water were gone... but the duvet cover was replaced, that's all. That's why you should be more careful with tips .
It should be noted that the reception is friendly, they will help, call a taxi, etc. The reception is good in general.
The cost is average, I would not say that it is expensive. Although we had standard rooms.
I almost forgot, the Wi-Fi in my room was not working well. And the elevator... No, of course the elevator is good, but at night every stop is accompanied by loud clicks. Overall, the sound insulation is weak.
There are two entrances to the hotel, one through the archway, the other through the restaurant.

Of the advantages, I would like to mention the friendly staff, friendly and very hospitable. The breakfast is delicious and varied, there is always something to choose from. It's a very beautiful courtyard, and I think it's even better there in the warmer months. The location is top, everything is within walking distance.
I came across a room with windows facing the road, it was very noisy in places. Definitely need to change the double-glazed windows

Like it. Great location. In the centre. Everything is nearby. Nice room, cleaned every day. Breakfast is included in the price
