We stayed with a family of 3 people in February 2024.
The most convenient location in Almta: near restaurants, shopping center, good transport accessibility.
The hotel is cozy, clean and very quiet.
The breakfasts are delicious, the choice is more than enough.
The staff is polite, any questions were solved without problems.
I will be in the city, I will definitely choose the GrandMildom again.

I liked the hotel. Responsive staff. A good breakfast. Convenient location. We extended the room for free for several hours, since the plane was in the evening. They twisted the scooter for their son. We brought all the things. My son broke the cup. They didn't take anything. The food in the room is delicious. Well done! The hotel is clearly losing points in terms of its level. The rooms are gorgeous, the service room is on the level, the breakfasts are excellent. There are no employees at the reception, just zero, it seems that these guys come there to work after a shift at the factory (someone is sleeping at the counter, who is trying with the last of his strength to solve some issue). Actually, the reception is the Face of the hotel and here you are, nate, look. I asked to assemble a lunch box for a certain time, there was an early check-out, they said everything would be ready - as a result, nothing was ready at all in the morning, and the one who was sitting at the counter asked to wait 2 minutes, now they will take it out. As a result, 2 minutes somehow turned into 15 minutes of meaningless waiting, as if someone had been sent to the next block for bread. Fitness - it would be better to forget about it altogether and no one said that it exists. And it's not even about the type of repair going on there, but about 4 half-broken simulators, well, really, I haven't even met such a shameful place. The sauna is open, but it's cold there, maybe 40-50 degrees. But the hammam is good, really. The pool is also worthy to take a dip after the steam room, although it is far from the level of the SPA, but it will go. In general, the hotel is good, and the service needs to be done, and you need to start with the reception. Although the staff, who are Africans, work for 5 plus.

Convenient location, very clean, room cleaning - I have not seen such quality and friendliness for a long time. Bathrobes, bathroom accessories without restrictions. The spa has an excellent sauna, which has one wall of clear glass overlooking the pool. The spa is open until midnight. The breakfasts are varied, there are a lot of pastries and desserts, it is convenient that up to 11 o'clock. The price/quality leaves much to be desired. From the critical: the unpleasant smell of the mini-bar, the curtains that do not close, which always leave a large gap so that the night light of neighboring lanterns shines directly in your face while you are trying to fall asleep, the window does not close, there is no second chair in a double room (or armchair)- if you want to drink tea, let one do it in bed. Deposits for an umbrella in the rain (where will I go with it), the gym - two exercise machines and both are broken, the treadmill slips - you can get injured, there is no bathtub in the room, and the Jacuzzi near the pool does not work. The hotel restaurant turned out to be the worst of those that we went to in Almaty. Having ordered cheesecakes for breakfast and waited 40 minutes, it is a special pleasure to see a person walking through the restaurant hall with frozen cheesecakes from the store to the kitchen. For $140 a night, you can find something better. There are no complaints about cleaning and cleanliness, the pool is normal, the hammam and the sauna too.

This hotel is everything to me now! Top-level service 👍🏼The room is very cozy with a 3D view of the whole city and the mountains. The cleanliness is perfect, the bed is like new, snow-white. There is a hammam, a swimming pool at any time, a gym. A variety of breakfasts👍🏼Restaurants for every taste. And it didn't take long to wait for the dishes to be cooked. Отличный отель! Рекомендую! Выбирали поблизости Генконсульства США. Локация что надо - Рядом современный торговый центр, много кафе и ресторанов, отличный вид на горы. В шаговой доступности (15 минут) - канатная дорога Кок-Тобе. В отеле бесплатно - бассейн, сауна, хамам (он просто бомбический!!), небольшой тренажерный зал, платно - спа процедуры. Сам отель новый, все очень чисто. Номера обеспечены всем самым необходимым для длительного проживания. Завтраки стандартные, но выпечка и пирожные шикарны! Кондитеру -отдельный респект!

Great place. I really liked it. Clean, cozy, but not budget-friendly.
A huge plus is the walking distance to the visa application center and the Dostyk Plaza shopping center.
10-15 minutes walk to the Kok Tobe Cable Car.
I didn't get to breakfast because of the time difference 😊
I recommend the hotel 👍

A great new hotel , it was the first time after opening probably a month later - the staff had small roughnesses . Everything is fine now, reception is 10/10, room cleaning is 10/10, the restaurant downstairs is 9/10, breakfasts are honestly 6/10, there is not enough space, everything is too compact. The food was great, I came early, the choice was excellent

We were at the hotel in March. The room is superior. The windows of the rooms in this category overlook Dostyk Ave. In all rooms above the 5th floor, the temperature is 26-28 degrees, our room was on the 8th, the initial temperature was about 32. It's impossible to keep the window open all the time, local drivers don't even need a reason to honk the horn. After a sleepless night, we moved into a room of a lower category, but without hot unregulated radiators and windows to the courtyard. The head of the hotel flatly refused to refund the money for the downgrade of the room category or at least apologize for the terrible conditions in the rooms on the upper floors.
The rooms are cleaned daily and of high quality, but there is one caveat.The hotel is popular with tourists from India. Noisy showdowns are constantly taking place at the reception desk in connection with stains allegedly left on bed linen and towels. The fines seem to be large, because the scream costs several hours and continues on, already among the newly arrived compatriots. So wash your hands more thoroughly and wash off the mascara from your eyelashes if you do not want to pay 10 thousand tenge for each spot.
The breakfasts are monotonous and do not differ in anything remarkable, in a couple of days you will have breakfast in neighboring cafes. I would not recommend using the restaurant. Of course, you won't get poisoned, but you won't get pleasure. The SPA was not used, because on our dates, a group of one and a half hundred Indians settled in the hotel, and all great lovers of relaxation. We didn't want to queue at the pool.
I do not recommend it categorically.

a very strange concept of the hotel. the rooms are small, there is no storage space for jars in the bathroom. there is not a single hook in the room for a bathrobe or towels. a dirty rubber mat is offered on the floor of the shower stall (probably to make it non-slip), but I strongly doubt that the maid sterilizes it after each visitor. in my opinion, this greatly lowers the level of the hotel and, on top of everything else, it is very disgusting and I was disgusted. I had to take a shower in the slates, as in public places.
there are 5 hangers in the closet and one shelf in the chest of drawers is offered. in general, it is not designed for a long stay, because it is difficult to imagine how to place clothes on such a storage area for 2 weeks of stay.
In general, the concept of the hotel becomes clear when you look into the refrigerator - there are condoms there. For a one-night stay (with clear goals), it seems that everything is there.
a very loud name for the SPA in the hotel. you go down to the 1st floor and find yourself in a basement technical room with a bunch of doors. there is no feeling of being in the spa area. There is no navigation in the basement. You just walk through this basement and, lo and behold, you find a swimming pool. everything in the pool area is very tired. three deck chairs and those are broken in different places. There's a package hanging on the ceiling. the water in the pool is hot. there is no control over the shower in front of the pool. There is some debris or hair at the bottom of the pool.
the guest is also offered access to saunas and a gym (a very loud name). There are three exercise machines in the gym and everyone is tired.
The breakfast food distribution area also does not look like a 4-star hotel. storage of products requiring cooling is not provided. for all N hours, how long breakfast lasts, sausage and cheese are on the plates and how many times I did not come there, it was always wet and dried (unappetizing). among other things, through this very sausage and cheese you reach for the hot food distribution area and, accordingly, it is unhygienic. you can accidentally get into these plates with clothes or your hair can get there.
the feeling of breakfast is ambiguous. maybe they wanted to do it well, but it didn't work out.
No matter what hotels I've lived in, there's NEVER been a time when there wasn't a cappuccino at breakfast. here it must be purchased for an additional fee. and for some reason the waiter is in a hurry to get paid right away and does not even offer the option to book a room (although he knows the room number and, accordingly, the guest can pay at check-out or on another day).
I do not recommend having high hopes for the declared 4 stars of this hotel and staying for a long time.
there is a maximum of 3* and it is uncomfortable to stay more than 2-3 days.

Останавливаюсь в гостинице 2й раз довольно близко от аэропорта рядом большой торговый комплекс и много точек питания. Сама гостиница соответствует звёздности номера не большие но все есть. Также есть бассейн, сауна и хамам. Единственное небольшое помещение для завтрака так что возможно не всегда будут свободные места в определенное время.

We stayed at the Grand mildom at the end of 2023, right before the New Year in the 20th.
We checked in 2 hours earlier than the scheduled time, for which we thank the hotel staff.
But I can't say anything more positive(
When cleaning the room in my absence, I found bathroom towels lying around at the entrance (where I put my shoes) and no towels were replaced.In other words, the African-American maid just threw them on the floor without replacing them (
The standard rooms are very small, there is not much place to turn around, I just went in and immediately lay down.
The window sills outside from the street are not washed and the view from the window to the mountains was accompanied by a view of pigeon dried feces, which spoiled the atmosphere (
The reception is not particularly friendly (They could not answer questions related to a walk around the city.
In the end, they asked for 8000 tenge for a soiled pillowcase.The wife got out of the shower and went to bed with a damp head, there were small stains on the pillowcase, for which she had to pay this amount right before leaving the hotel, when the taxi was already at the entrance.
The impression is ruined, I won't go back there anymore.

Плюсы. Завтрак вкусный, удобная кровать, номер Делюкс просторный.
Минусы.1)В номерах, где окна выходят на дорогу(как было у нас) ночью невольно просыпаешься от мотоциклов, хотя этаж 8!
2) кондиционер невероятно шумный. Если кондиционер поставить менее 22 градусов, то спать невозможно. Берите беруши, хотя они тоже неособо помогли.
3) Хамское отношение на ресепшене, встретили с недовольным лицом, во время оформления было ощущение, что ты им должен. У менеджера с которым, муж предварительно связывался тоже самое, так как пообещали номер на 7 этаже, в итоге при заезде дали номер на 5. Он нас полностью не устроил, 503 номер весь обшарпан и из туалета ужасная вонь плесени. В итоге мы настояли на том чтобы мы получили другой номер, дали 801. Зеркало в ванной мигает, не включется/выключается, окно ели закрыли чтобы щели не было.
4) Бассейн с утра нагревается, к вечеру ледяной, всего 4 лежака и 2 стола.
4)И теперь самый главный МИНУС, который оскорбил нашу семью. Мы приехали в этот отель, чтобы отпраздновать мой День рождения вдвоём, отель находится в 10 минутах езды от нашего дома. Итак мы приезжаем в сам День моего рождения, как ранее я уже говорила, с невероятно недовольным лицом на ресепшене, девушка сканирует мой паспорт, видит мой др, но даже пары хороших слов не было! Так же за неделю до этого мой муж звонил в отель и говорил, что в день звезда будет у меня ДР, дополнительно в букинге написали это в сообщении. Мы проехали множество мест и посетили много отелей как в Казахстане в целом, так и в других странах и это встречаем впервые! В этот день меня не поздравили и даже просто в устной форме! Мне не принесли ничего в номер! Обычно это пироженное, фрукты, шампанское. Для более бюджетных мест - конфеты и тд.
Отель 4 звезды и стоимость проживания недешевая. Почему тогда к клиентам такое неуважительное отношение?!?! Естественно всех своих друзей, коллег и родственников я отговорю от отдыха в данном отеле.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days, for the weekend. We were accommodated on the 9th floor, where the entrance to The Secret bar is located, which we did not know about in advance.
Minuses:
1. When you go up to the 9th floor, you find yourself in a corridor where there is a beautiful girl at the reception who greets guests, and on the sides of her are the doors to the rooms. It turns out that if you decide to return to the room late, then on the floor you will meet bar patrons who are not always sober. At night, it's not worth opening the door of the room at all, people are always hanging out on the floor, waiting for them to be taken to the bar. Well, accordingly, you will listen through the door all night as drunken guests are waiting for the elevator to leave.
2. Now the most important thing. The bar plays music up to 4 (!!!!) o'clock in the morning, the whole 9th floor hears music all night, it's impossible to sleep with the window open, because the music is screaming.
3. Cleaning in our room was not done for 3 days (let me remind you that we only arrived for 4). This is despite the fact that we at the reception asked that the room be cleaned. They even told us in plain text that they were telling the cleaning that they needed to get out, but apparently they forgot about us.
4. Upon arrival, there were half-empty jars of shampoo in the bathroom, they were not changed after the last guests.
We asked to be moved to another room, but there were no places. Perhaps if we had lived a few floors below, the impression of the hotel would have remained much better (apart from cleaning).
They told the manager about it, apologized to us and said they would fix everything.

We were in September of the 23rd year. Excellent breakfasts, comfortable bed. But!
There are certainly no 4* there. Room service is three-star, dirty dishes are not removed from the tables in the SPA, so it is unclear where you can stay.
And most importantly, the nightclub is upstairs. The music screams until morning, it's impossible to sleep! When checking into the upper floors, they do not warn about such a "trifle". A family with children definitely has nothing to do here.

Хороший, добротный отель, твёрдые 4*
Есть бассейн, сауна, большие ванные комнаты со всеми принадлежностями, оперативный рум-сервис. Сами комнаты небольшие, но это не критично! Через дорогу большой ТЦ с магазинами и ресторанами.

Жили с 22.06- 25.06.2023 года. Отель новый, расположен прямо напротив торгового центра. Номера отличные, особенно впечатлила огромная душевая. Завтрак очень скудный. В зале приема пищи всего семь столов, и если придти после 9;00, то приходится ждать свободный стол.

The rooms are clean and cozy, the sound insulation is good, but if the windows overlook the avenue, then you can't sleep with the window open - it's very noisy. And when the off-season and the condors are already switched to the winter mode, it creates certain inconveniences.

Классный, чистый и очень приятный отель! Завтраки вкусные, есть зона СПА, бассейн и 2 вида сауны, финская и хаммам. Отзывчивый персонал! Одназначно рекомендую!
