On the 11th day of my stay in Unawatuna, my soul wanted borscht))) We went out for dinner in the evening, ordered borscht, pasta with seafood and fried eggplant salad, washed down with ginger beer (lemonade) and smoked hookah. As a result, borscht is excellent served with hot pampushki, a spread of lard and sour cream, the pasta is delicious, the salad is excellent. The hookah is decent, the customers from the next table said that the hookah from the nearest cafes is one of the best. The contingent is 95% Russian-speaking tourists. It can be seen that the place is popular. The staff is very positive. I can safely recommend it, we had a delicious meal)))

In September, I flew to Unavanuta, settled in a hotel on the most tourist street, on the very first day I came to lunch at the Grecha restaurant, it is located on the ocean next to my hotel. I was immediately pleased that some of the staff were Russian guys, since my English is not very good, I am not always understood correctly. I ordered a traditional borscht, and a burger, God, it was the most delicious lunch in my travel practice. Borscht is at the highest level, (mom, I'm sorry, but I haven't eaten more delicious borscht), the burger is super juicy and hearty, with my favorite French fries! I also liked the atmosphere of the place, I was in the lounge area, pleasant music, the sound of the ocean set the mood of relaxation and peace. I want to express my gratitude to the waiters who are so caring and attentive, and to the chefs for the delicious dishes. The guys told me the local attractions, where everything is and invited me to an evening of live music. Since that day, I have been eating exclusively in Buckwheat)))

The restaurant is well-known among Russian tourists, so upon arrival we visited it, because we read the reviews. It turned out to be easy to find, it is located on the main walking street and has a catchy advertising sign. There are a lot of visitors, but there are always places. We ordered tuna dishes, as this is the most advertised food. We liked it. There are sun loungers on the beach from the restaurant, which can be used when ordering meals at the restaurant and this is included in the price of the order. We didn't stop at just one restaurant, as there are a lot of them there and we wanted variety. We can recommend it to all tourists.
