This is a very special place...
we applied at the same time for the whole family.
I received my passport:
a) at the moment when a taxi was already waiting to take me to the airport;
b) in an open form from the courier's hands.
It all started with the fact that careless employees in Astana lost my passport, respectively, without handing it over along with all my family's passports, and when they found it a few days later, they forgot it at work at hour "X" and, as a result, did not send it on a regular night flight to Alma-Ata.
In general, Bingo in my case!

I went for a consultation, waited in line for half an hour, and when she finally came up, they refused me, saying that the issue was a priority. They were sent to another window, there they barely explained, reluctantly fell off

I didn't notice any disadvantages. We went in half an hour earlier than the scheduled time, received a number and immediately went to the managers' windows! All the procedures - filing documents, payment, fingerprinting went one after another, they did not wait a minute in line!
All the staff were friendly and patient!

The experience is positive. All the documents were handed over and fingerprints were taken together in 55 minutes.
All the approvals on our situation with the embassy were literally completed in 5 minutes.
They banned the use of the phone, but these are the rules🤷🏻♂️
