Gastronomic horror with thriller elements. Hello everyone I live not far from this place in CityGate, but it seems that now I will drive past at maximum speed. Externally, the cafe looks nice — cozy and modern. For context: I broke both my legs in an accident and use a wheelchair. When trying to enter the cafe, I got stuck in the gravel, but the staff tried to help. They came in — okay. We ordered chicken, we decided to leave the beef for the next time, but alas, there won't be a next time. The chicken turned out to be a little dry, the food was solid, and the prices were confidently above average. We had a good evening, then the place closed, and we asked for the bill. 10% for the service, ok! I've been in Thailand for a month, paying for Apple Pay purchases everywhere, so I stopped carrying a bank card with me, but in this institution both terminals decided that Apple Pay was too high—tech. The owner, who is technically the owner of the business (a wonderful person, a prisoner of abusive relationships), tried to do something, but without success. I offered to transfer money to a Visa or MasterCard card, but this option was unavailable, the owner offered to pay the bill tomorrow, we gladly agreed and thanked her. And then the show started. The owner resolved the issue in favor of the guest and maintained the loyalty of the restaurant, and her husband — he is the manager, he is the chef, he is the man shouting at everyone around — did not agree with such a managerial decision, he began to threaten that he would call his friends now and they would come to beat us. The fact that the terminal does not work with Apple Pay is not his problem, but mine. And in general, pay in cash, go ahead! Then he changed his mind and decided it was better to call the police. My wife and I are in shock, from this shock I offered him to walk home with me (200 meters!) He applied for a bank card, but this option did not suit him. He chose a more spectacular path: he switched to shouting, threatening, insulting, and demonstrating his toxic masculinity. All the staff pressed themselves into the walls and tried to blend in with the interior. The owner rushed around the place, trying to put out the fire, but her husband literally poured gasoline on everything. At some point, for some reason, he took a picture of me and said that if I left a bad review, the mafia would destroy me. Yes, now there's also an escape quest from local criminal structures! As a result, at half past eleven at night, my wife (who has been stressed for weeks because of my accident and near disability) went home to get a card, and I was left hostage to this psychopath, because the only available alternative is a full-fledged scandal with hysteria, the mafia and the police. At this time, he continued his tantrum and spoke unflatteringly about Russians and that no one needed our "rupees" here, although after 15+ years of traveling, I came to the conclusion that there is no bad nation, there are only bad people. Now, attention: this man claims to have 20 years of experience in restaurant management, several restaurants, and even a Michelin star. Dear Michelin, if you really once gave this person a star, take it back, burn it and sprinkle salt so that nothing like this grows. Conclusion: the food is three, the impressions are minus five, the service is more like a psychological quest "Can you leave without a nervous breakdown?" I was able to, but I'm still in a wheelchair. The establishment could be quite good, but with such management, he has one way to go — to the list of closed restaurants, and the manager goes to a psychiatrist to treat his illnesses.
