We came to see Grodno. Train. Railway station. And ...zoo. At the checkout / there are magnets and other souvenirs on sale / there was no queue.
A lot of animals, birds, fish and ...... walked for about an hour. Took a picture.
Lots of positive emotions.
Of course there is a smell, but.... not critical.
In general, there is something to see and therefore I definitely recommend it for a visit.

There are always only the best emotions from visiting this zoo. I am pleased with the variety of animals, well-groomed territory, and pets too. It is a pity that, as in my childhood, there is no opportunity to ride around the territory on a horse (we were rolled in a cart), and, in general, it would be great to organize the opportunity for "contact communication" with some representatives, now you can go to the "Grandmother's Yard", but it does not always function. I like it here many times more than in the zoo in Minsk. One of the disadvantages is the inability to eat on the territory of the zoo, I'm talking about a cafe, there is a Pelican, which also does not always function. And there are few places for the child to take a little rest from emotions and continue his journey through the territory, there is only one place, at the entrance, with, like, 2 swings, which are constantly occupied by someone. But I won't take off the stars for this. We love this zoo very much. Great interesting events are being organized for children and I would like to appeal more to parents - please watch the behavior of children, otherwise it is clear that parents are tired and the responsibility has been shifted to the animators, and the behavior of someone else's child is not their area of guarantee.

Great zoo! There are many interesting animals, there is a terrarium and an aquarium in separate buildings. The territory is clean, and the animals are being cared for, it can be seen. Tickets cost 10 rubles/adult, it's inexpensive. The zoo took us almost half a day. The only thing that remains a mystery is where the domestic brown bears went and why there were Grizzlies in their place :)

Deer (or roe deer, I don't know for sure) they trampled everything around them, not a blade of grass, not a bush, stood near the fence and looked wistfully at the puddle from the hose, which they could not reach... Small enclosures, crowding and hopelessness. Only birds felt great in an open pond and goats, but they are not whimsical. I was sad. I'm not going anymore. Zoos are a torment for animals(((

A magnificent park! We got unforgettable impressions and positive emotions! Very clean and well maintained. We walked everywhere and did not see a single trace of waste during the entire tour. Special thanks to the Administration and staff for their love of animals! Such love and care, both when caring for them, and when observing the conditions of stay and preservation of the breed, is pleasing. We are very surprised that even pigeons and fish are placed in different enclosures to preserve the breed. Despite the fact that there were animals that were on the vet.quarantined or needed vet.When leaving, they could be seen in aviaries on the street, but in the vet.the case. A safety system for dangerous animals is provided, both visible and artificially designed in a natural style (special obstacles). All animals are well-groomed and well-fed. We were surprised that in such a compact area every centimeter is so well thought out (there is a building with monkeys, a building with parrots, a building with aquariums, a mammal building, a terrarium and, of course, all aviaries on the street in which animals are grouped in sectors by species. You can also look at the animals that go out into the outdoor aviary inside, in the indoor part of the aviary. It is very convenient that everyone, wherever they live, can get to Grodno by train and visit the zoo, because it is located opposite the train station.

There are just an incredible number of animals and birds. We've been to a lot of zoos - it just seemed huge. The animals are fed just fine, not every person eats like that. All the animals are well-fed, contented, even some are overweight (like a tiger). Minus a star for the design. Terrariums are not decorated in any way, the fences are all painted in different colors and the paint is peeling everywhere. It is clear that the care workers are trying hard, but there are no people engaged in design work. With so many animals, you can arrange everything like this< that there will be the best zoo in the CIS.

An interesting zoo. It's pretty big. Minsk, of course, is bigger, but I liked it here too. There are birds, fish, terrarium animals. Big cats, different slingshots, several bears, a rodent, and so on. However, it was hot and not everyone was present in the outdoor valliers. Many were hiding inside.
I recommend you to visit. Especially if you came to Grodno as a tourist.

I was pleasantly surprised by the zoo. We were in Grodno with a child and decided to go in and compare it with Minsk. We were very surprised by the cleanliness, well-groomed animals, a variety of aviaries, there is no sharp smell.
There are no super exotic animals, but there is a large terrarium, an aquarium with fish, too. A big plus is that if the animals are not outside in the aviary, then you can go into the building and look at them from the other side inside.
The toilets are clean. I was surprised that with such a well-groomed, we did not meet a single employee in 2 hours of walking, except for the cashier)) At the same time, we saw fresh food in all the animals in the cages.

There are a lot of birds and there are big cats. The terarium is also worth a look. The toilets are clean. There are interesting bears, but it is unlikely to be possible to consider them. They are in a niche much lower than the visitor. The fence is very strange. The main (upper) part is made of transparent plastic, installed at a high angle towards the enclosure. As a result, the reverse side is very dirty and glares strongly in the sun. Everyone who was around had this opinion. Aquariums with fish are obviously small, but it's good that they exist at all. On the day of the visit, none of the food was sold. But it doesn't matter, there's a KFC across the street. It is definitely worth your money, who wants more, see the Diploma in Baranovichi.

It's a very sad place. I used to think that the Minsk Zoo looked bad, but it turned out to be rosy compared to this place.
Part of the zoo is especially closer to the entrance in good condition, fish,chicken-like creatures and a couple of birds, but passing on, the picture was less and less pleasing.
The enclosures of large animals have not been cleaned and are quite dirty, the llamas generally have some vacant lots.
I don't know how it really is, but the animals seem to feel so-so and look accordingly.
