Groot Constantia winery is one of the oldest in the region, founded in the 17th century. There is a museum of the history of this winery. A wonderful restaurant overlooking the vineyards. There are various wine tasting sets from this winery, you can buy the wine you like. You can get from Cape Town by taxi or by a red tour bus.
