We stayed at Gutsa's with two children for a week and a half, my husband lived here for almost a month. This is where our acquaintance with Georgia and Tbilisi began. We really liked the hospitality of the hostess, everything was so homely, warm, authentic space, antique furniture, spiral staircase, paintings. We are from St. Petersburg, so it was a great pleasure for us to stay at the hotel, the old foundation and its charm always leaves a special imprint when exploring the city. Gutsa treated the children to berries and fruits. The location is great, near the metro, parks for walking, fruit stalls and a steam room, we appreciated the chessboard, played several games. We forgot some things at the check-out, they were returned to us.

The five of us traveled together. We stayed for 2 nights. I really liked it. The location is in the center, a 20-minute leisurely walk to Old Tbilisi. Rustaveli metro station is nearby. We had an apartment (2 rooms with balconies facing the street). The bed is clean, there were enough towels for everyone. The hostess is very friendly, you can always ask for a towel if you didn't find it. In the evenings, we had dinner and socialized in the shared kitchen. A washing machine is available for a small fee. Plus, it's a very atmospheric place.

It was impossible to use the shower because a pipe was leaking somewhere and after a few minutes the water on the floor was ankle-deep, we booked a junior suite through the "island", there was a discount on it, but upon arrival the hostess said that again everything was mixed up there and we were assigned a standard room or we would have to pay extra, but we made a photocopy of the contract when bookingThe hostess was very unhappy that she did not have to charge extra money. Later, in the reviews, I found that this is a common practice for this institution, you confirm everything with documentation so that there are no problems when paying for a room, I do not recommend this hotel, it is better to look for another one
