We had a great dinner in Guga! This is one of those places that has pleased everyone, starting from the meeting, the service, the dishes and the atmosphere. They cook very quickly, tasty and satisfying - the portions are large! We ordered Spas soup, dolma in grape leaves and kalagesh, a dish that combines both the first and the second. Kalagesh is served in a deep bowl covered with pita bread, with matzoni (matsun) and lentils (you can add meat - that's what we did). The dish itself is so satisfying that you don't have to order anything else!
The place is quite small and is located far from the historical center, but it is worth getting to it!
I think it will be difficult to find a free table during the season.

A small cozy cafe with national cuisine. Delicious rich warming hearty hash (huge portion). Wonderful baklava and fragrant Armenian coffee. They welcomed me cordially and told me how to eat hash. Quick serving of dishes. All in all, a great place with delicious food.

This restaurant is completely disappointing. He was really praised once, but now it's just a nightmare. The cuisine is disgusting:
and the prices are sky-high. Waiting for food is a separate torture, everyone endures for more than an hour. The staff behaves unprofessionally: waiters can argue loudly on the phone right in the hall, ignoring visitors. The booking system is absurd: even if you haven't had enough, you can be told from the doorstep that a table is reserved in two hours, and nothing else can be ordered. The only plus is the beautiful decor, but what's the use of the interior if the day is completely ruined. Only bad impressions remained from this institution, and it is absolutely not worth the money and time spent.

We stopped by for dinner. At first there weren't many people, but then all the tables were occupied.
We ordered vats, potatoes on a spit, chicken on a spit, grandma's homemade vegetable marinade, bread, plum compote.
The vats were wonderful: a good portion, lots of vegetables, meat and moderate spices. The potatoes and chicken were also a success. Pickles are not bad, probably they would have gone better under strong alcohol. I liked the compote.
The service is unobtrusive.
The total receipt turned out to be 9614 AMD, including automatic 10% for the service. We did not understand why we added another 150 drams for another bread. There was a moment when they put a common basket of dry pita bread on the table and said: "Help yourself." It is strange if an additional amount was added for this.

National dishes are on the menu. The soup Saved is very tasty! I tried it later in several places in Yerevan - it's sour there. The most delicious spas I've tasted so far. We also took soup with mountain sorrel, interesting. Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit again to evaluate other dishes, but we were interested in many of the menus.
