The Hakkasan Restaurant in Abu Dhabi opened in June 2010, and the famous Emirates Palace Hotel serves excellent local cuisine. The space consists of a lobby, as well as four separate dining rooms, divided by carved wooden screens and lattices, which echo the rich interiors of the restaurant. Embroidered furniture and Chinese marble enrich the space. Khakasan specialties such as Peking duck with caviar and grilled wagyu beef with royal soy sauce are served alongside new dishes created specifically for Emirati customers.

The Hakkasan restaurant of traditional Cantonese cuisine is located in the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which resembles a huge palace with a huge territory. Hakkasan in Abu Dhabi is a Michelin star holder (4 restaurants in Abu Dhabi have been awarded a Michelin star). Now there are many Hakkasan restaurants around the world, and the very first one opened in London back in 2001. 19:00. I'm on the spot. A nice hostess met me, sat me down at a table and I began to study the menu. Unfortunately, the tasting set can only be ordered for two or more visitors, so this option was not available to me (and I knew about it). It's a pity, but I noticed that this is typical for many other Abu Dhabi restaurants. Of course, I ordered the dim sum that Hakkasan restaurant is famous for. I chose assorted dishes to try different flavors, and I chose the premium option, which includes both fried dim sum and steamed dim sum. I wanted to choose fish or seafood as the main dish. I ruled out the lobster option, since the lobster is not from the aquarium. I didn't want black cod that night. I was thinking about the Chilean sea bass, but I was a little confused by the presence of organic honey, which is harvested on site. Maybe it's true, but somehow it's hard to believe, it looks more like a marketing ploy. And if the menu had just indicated honey (even if it is actually harvested on site), then I would have ordered Chilean sea bass. The waitress recommended fried spicy shrimp to me. I decided to follow her advice and chose them as the main course, and from desserts the choice fell on a prickly lemon. The assorted dim sum is simply amazing! Very tasty, but also very beautiful! Of course, the swan looks the most beautiful (I ate it last). I liked absolutely all the dim sum, but most of all I liked the crispy dim sum with tender wagyu beef and a powerful truffle flavor, which I felt for a long time, as well as dim sum with the most delicate Chilean sea bass, decorated with red caviar. And, of course, I'll just mention the awesome lychee lobster! Where else can you find such interesting combinations? And where else can you try such a beautiful crispy dim sum in the shape of a swan? By the way, the filling in the chicken swan. For some reason, at first I thought it would be made of duck. Large fried shrimps in golden breading with hot pepper, oyster leaves (familiar to me, thanks to the Moscow restaurants Beluga and Olluco) and crispy cashews. Served in an edible crispy basket. Tender sweet and sour shrimp with really spicy peppers, giving a pleasant pungency at the exit. Sweetness, slight sourness, and subsequent sharpness – all this complements the taste of excellent shrimp. And in combination with my favorite fried cashews, it's a bomb! I can confidently say that I have never eaten such delicious fried shrimp before or after visiting the Hakkasan restaurant. Prickly lemon. It looks like a beautiful lemon decorated with spikes and edible gold. The waitress cut this "lemon" (with yuzu flavor) with a knife, citrus filling with kalamansi flavor flowed out of it. The spikes are a white chocolate mousse, i.e. the spikes are not prickly at all. It turned out to be a pleasant light refreshing citrus dessert. It is beautiful and very tasty. By tradition, after a delicious dinner, I drank my much-loved flat white. The service in the restaurant was excellent. They met me, sat me down at a good table, told me everything about the menu, gave me advice. Dirty dishes did not linger on the table, the waitresses asked about their impressions. The evening was a success! Hakkasan Restaurant in Abu Dhabi left an exceptionally positive impression. If I find myself in Abu Dhabi again, I will definitely look here.
