The crescent is crowned by one of the powerful (26 meters each) paired minarets of the mosque, overhanging the square at the intersection, like the towers of cathedrals over the market squares of Europe The minarets stand at the gates, behind which there is a whole block at the three courtyards of the mosque It is believed that Honakoh was founded in the 16th century, although it looks like a clean new model Although Margilan Honakoh is clearly inferior in area to the main mosques of Andijan and Kokand, its hall is clearly one of the largest in Central Asia

Honakoh Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Uzbekistan in the city of Margilan. It was built sometime in the 15th century.After the reconstruction, the mosque became wide and cozy. 1,500 thousand people can pray here at one moment.
