Its main advantage is the incomparable food and convenient breakfast schedule, smoothly turning into lunch (from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.). Also among the advantages of the hotel: * spacious rooms with wide beds and panoramic windows overlooking the mountains * high-quality cleaning, pleasant helpful staff * high-quality cosmetics in the room, bathrobes, 2 types of slippers (for the room and rubber ones for the pool) * iron and ironing board on request * the infinity pool, which is open until 22.30, is a salvation on days when swimming at sea is prohibited and a great option to relax after a long walk or excursion * Just an incredible Peking duck restaurant - it's delicious! + the chef is butchering the duck in front of you - a real ritual * transfer to the beach (although sometimes you have to wait, but it is very convenient) * pleasant music performed by a Filipino couple at dinner and in the evening in the lobby bar *proximity to Pineapple shopping center, where you can find everything you need - from clothes, suitcases and souvenirs, to a huge supermarket with food and a bunch of restaurants (although most vacationers prefer to dine at Panda restaurant, which is located directly opposite the hotel) Of the cons: * intense stuffiness in the restaurant * intense stuffiness on the 5th floor (on the way to the restaurant, to the pool, to the medical center) - why this area was left unglazed is a mystery to us * the road from the hotel to the beach (for new arrivals it's a whole quest to find the sea)) *insufficient number of sun loungers by the pool * lack of sun loungers from the hotel on the beach line * Long waiting times for elevators, especially during breakfast But all the disadvantages are so insignificant that I had to think hard to remember them) The overall impression of the hotel is a delight!!! We definitely recommend it! And we will be happy to come back for the 3rd time!

We had a rest in September 2025 The hotel was chosen for a long time and we chose Harman. Dadonghai city center, beautiful Infinity pool. During the 10 days of staying at the hotel, the room was cleaned daily, towels were changed and shampoos, balsam, gel were added. Water, coffee, tea, sugar!!! Slates, beach bag, hair dryer, mosquito repellent fumitox! The room is very large and has spacious two beds and snow-white linens! The pool is beautiful, always clean, and there are enough sun loungers to take a seat at any time. There are always pleasant and friendly staff at the reception, there are Russian-speaking guides who can help you every day. The food is very good, fresh and varied! Breakfast is served until 13.30, which is very convenient! We visited the Alaska restaurant "Peking Duck" once and were very satisfied with both the service and the traditional duck serving👍 Everything is within walking distance and Pineapple and Park and beach and cafes! The only thing on the beach is that there are no sun beds((( A shuttle runs to the beach every half hour. The hotel itself is always clean, with several elevators on different sides of the lobby. There is a lobby where you can sit. The Internet is available, but it doesn't catch well.... Scales for weighing luggage. The hotel left positive emotions and a very good mood! We'd like to come back again! I recommend. I also want to add the view from the pool to the bay is simply gorgeous!!! The pool is open until 22.30 And there is a gym in front of the pool, we went a couple of times) Thanks to Harman for exploring China! We will definitely arrive again.

It is located in the center of the resort area, in Dodonghai Bay. Very close to the main square, the waterfront, entertainment and shopping malls. This proximity is an undoubted advantage of the hotel. As well as his field of nutrition: excellent breakfasts until 13.30 (!) and dinners (I strongly advise you to take it in advance or at least go on the spot - 238 yuan per person, about 2600 rubles). The dinners are like you're at a banquet in a palace. There are all kinds of seafood, meat, fish, side dishes for the most sophisticated tourist, any cuisine. One of the advantages is also the friendly staff, some speak Russian, and are always ready to help. The hotel at the entrance seems big, beautiful and clean. The main hall has a stylish and tasteful design. But the rooms themselves are a little tired, although spacious. I recommend taking those with sea views and higher floors. A really beautiful panoramic view, pleasing to the eye and soul. Initially, we got a dirty room in which there was no hot water and there was a persistent smell of dampness and sewage in the bathroom and toilet. The humidity is very high, by the way. The staff changed the room without any problems to a cleaner one with working plumbing. The room itself: a very strange 2-bar dryer, an "interesting" bathroom and toilet area: a washbasin and a bathroom right in the room, not separated by anything. The shower and toilet are equipped with thin plastic doors. That is, this option is certainly not for the particularly shy. There is no bidet or hygienic shower in the toilet. Cleaning is generally decent, water and hygiene supplies are brought to the room. There is a kettle, puer and green tea. Russian Russians are so numerous in the hotel (more than 50% of the guests), but there is not a single Russian channel on TV, not even a news channel. Although there are as many as 2 of them in China. The Internet connection in the hotel is very weak. In China, all Meta and Google services are blocked, so everything has to be opened via VPN, even WhatsApp and Telegram. 🙄 The pool is shallow, 140 cm, the area around it is generally small, by 10-11 hours absolutely everything is occupied. But by the way, the sun beds are released by 12-13 o'clock. Towels are given by the pool under the painting, like keys on the watch). There is a pool bar where you can have a snack, drink coffee and other drinks at reasonable prices. There is also a lobby bar. Their disadvantage is that the staff of the bars work fantastically slowly, none of them speaks English, and sometimes it's very difficult to convey what you need ( The hotel has 18 floors. It's not a very long wait for elevators, but in general it's a bit stressful to ride them in a crowd every day, stopping at every floor. The hotel has a "Chinese medicine center", which offers acupuncture, ear cleaning, lip augmentation, massage, pedicure and other entertainment. 70% of the hotel goes with traces of cans on their backs and seems to be satisfied. From my point of view, the biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the road to the sea. It's actually not that long to walk, about 7 minutes. But as such, there is no sane pedestrian road. There is a military unit nearby and, of course, they are not allowed to enter the checkpoint through it. You have to go around the roadways, the neighboring hotel, where there are endless taxis, mopeds and cars. The entrance to the hotel is next to the pineapple shopping center, as such it does not exist from the street, you have to go through the "slums" along dirty streets or through the shopping center. There is a shuttle service to the beach, but it is quite tedious to wait for it, it does not carry one at a time, it is typed like a minibus. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, the sun beds from the hotel are on its left extreme side, no one requires payment, you come and lie down, but they will drive you away at 18.30. The disadvantage of the beach is that even with small waves it is forbidden to enter the water, they start scolding, yelling, running, whistling, etc. (coast guard every 100 m). If there are no waves, they open small "pens" surrounded by buoys, where the whole crowd is allowed to swim. This is very uncomfortable, in which case you can go to the neighboring Xiaodunhai Bay (3.5 km) or to Yalong Bay, where you can safely swim, they don't drive like that. You can call a taxi at the reception or catch it on the street, it is inexpensive, 3-4 km - 20 yuan, 230 rubles. The hotel also has an a la carte Chinese restaurant, which is very tasty and voluminous, and serves Peking duck. The Russian restaurant nearby was closed at the time of our visit. Where to eat nearby? Opposite the hotel, the Panda cafe is unsanitary and a very questionable place, it may be possible to eat, but not without risk, judging by the dirt inside. Food court on the 3rd floor of the Pineapple shopping center (next door to the hotel): lots of Chinese cuisine, there is a Japanese eatery, quite decent. In the supermarket on the 2nd floor you can buy ready-made food, fruits, bread. Also decent places: cross the road from the hotel and walk 500-700 m to the left to the Winter and Summer shopping center. There is a cool grill bar with American cuisine - Dolphin (the price tag is about 5000-6000 rubles for two, if you take a steak, everything is very tasty), there are also parties and concerts from 9 o'clock, next to the Japanese restaurant Sakagoki - delicious and inexpensive. And basically almost everything in this row. There is also a specific Hong Kong restaurant with an oven on the table. I also recommend the Glass Sea Russian restaurant nearby (Lilong Street) - everything is delicious, fresh, inexpensive and in huge portions. There are also many restaurants on the waterfront, but due to the proximity to the sea, the price tag is growing. There are many dubious-looking eateries in the city itself and in the center of Dodonghai, where the Chinese themselves eat, but they look dangerously unsanitary. Overall, the Harman hotel makes a very pleasant impression, clean, cozy, tasty, polite, reliable, safe. But if I were to visit this bay again, I would choose another hotel. In my opinion, the location of the entrance to the shopping center and the passage to the sea is not the best option. Well, the bathroom-toilet area, located in the room, is also unusual in a negative value.
