The Alisher Navoi Mosque is a mosque located in the city of Kagan in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan[1]. The first one[2] and the only mosque[3] built in the western part of the city. In 1992, 600 m2 of land was allocated to the mosque. In 1994, work began on the expansion of the mosque, and takharatkhana and aivan were built. In 1999, she was registered with the State Department of Justice. Over the years, the mosque's territory has expanded and reached 733 m2 in 2012. In 2016, the main building of the mosque was completely reconstructed. During 2018-2019, construction work was carried out in the mosque complex, the ivan was expanded, and the takharathana was rebuilt[2]. Over the years, Roib Loyikov (1991-1999), Tulkin Safarov (1999-2017), and Afzal Kamalov (2017—present) were appointed imams of the mosque[2]. On October 31, 2020, due to a violation of safety regulations during welding operations, a fire broke out, as a result of which 35 m2 of the roof of the auxiliary building of the mosque burned down[4]. Currently, a new modern building is being built on the site of the old mosque building.
