The amphitheater impresses with its beauty, architecture and size. Despite the fact that it was founded in the 2nd century BC and withstood an earthquake and was destroyed at least once. Archaeologists have tried to restore it, pieced together. Most of the details are original, some details have been completely reconstructed. The marble decor has been preserved to the smallest detail, and the inscriptions in Greek have also been preserved. I am delighted to be able to touch history.

It is part of the Pamu-Kale tourist complex, an ancient city and mineral springs, which, according to legend, Cleopatra passed by and possibly bathed in local springs. The theater is located on a slope, the building is monumental, striking like many ancient structures, sculptures, columns, steps - all made of solid processed stone, impressive.

Well-preserved ruins of the amphitheater and other buildings. There is also a museum nearby, where sculptures and parts of architectural structures from antiquity are on display. It is interesting to walk around and look at the remains of ancient civilizations.

A beautifully preserved ancient amphitheater. It has been restored. The elements of the scene-statues and columns - are perfectly preserved. It is difficult to go to him-uphill and in the heat, but he is worth it!

This amphitheater is one of the oldest buildings of the ancient era of Ancient Rome that have survived to the present day, dating back almost two thousand years, without a couple of centuries)) It has been preserved quite well, despite the fact that over the past 1,500 years it has only been destroyed, and the local population has not been watching it, it is surprising that during this time the local Turkish people did not steal it for materials, only the last half century of the 20th century began to somehow look after it and try to preserve something after recognition UNESCO World Heritage Site). The structure is certainly majestic, large enough for such a large number of spectators (about 15,000 people), built according to the relief of the slope from the rocks, thanks to which it has survived to the present day, and it would also have sunk into the summer under the influence of natural elements and would now have rare and small preserved remains, like all other buildings. the former Roman city of Hierapolis (present-day Turkish Pamukkale), which stretches wherever you look in the vicinity of this amphitheater. It looks very interesting and fascinating, you feel some kind of reverent connection with such antiquity produced by mankind. In summer, of course, it is very hot and unbearable here, it is not clear why people chose such living conditions for themselves, plus these stones of the building and the mountainous area are heated and additionally warm up the air, just like in a steam room!)) In autumn and spring, of course, it is much more comfortable here to inspect the remains of the historical era. Of the advantages, of course, it is also worth noting that they allow you to walk along the upper tiers of the amphitheater, capture pictures for memory, of course, the most successful angle is from the very top, the picture below is not the same, such opportunities can no longer be used in every ancient building on our planet)

A cool place where unreal centuries-old power is concentrated. If we talk specifically about the theater, then I would like to swim in a tub like that even now.: it's nice, unrealistically beautiful / every inch is painted, not even painted, but like an ornament made of clay. It's such a big job. How much you should enjoy decorating one bathtub for so long. The theater room is cooled due to the walls inside, just after the outdoor space in the pools, it is ideal for the body, which thanks relaxation after entering the theater from the heat. The rest of the theater subjects are also good. But for me, it was the bathtub that became an object of admiration.

A very beautiful place with a very sad past. White calcareous mountain with warm water sources of 35 degrees, ancient-ruined buildings. Now it is a museum of the Greco-Roman civilization

And I liked it here. The only thing I would like to clarify is that with small children, you will not walk around here. The child will get tired. I need a stroller. You'll have to go a lot of places. It's also better not to go in the heat. In general, Pamukale takes all day! But the sunset must be met here..

Pammukale is the name of this place now, unfortunately, three hours of sightseeing is very small, a huge territory, once it was a whole city.

It is a very beautiful, colorful place, it is clear that landscaping work is underway, but unfortunately it is still far from ideal, for example, there is a paved path for tourists only on one side of the theater.

The Roman amphitheater in Pamukkale is one of the few that has been preserved from the ancient city of Hierapolis, which dates back to the 2nd century BC. The structure is considered one of the largest in Turkey and the best preserved, despite the fact that it suffered from earthquakes many times, and once was completely destroyed. The amphitheater could accommodate up to 15,000 spectators and for a long time served as a venue for gladiatorial fights. The seats for ordinary people are made of stone, and for special guests there is a marble bed in the very center. Come and be inspired at any time of the year.

It's worth seeing! An overview of the ancient Amphitheater is included in the Pamukkale tour, traveled from Side; a total of 18 hours; but it's worth it. The tour turns out to be intense

A grandiose antique building. It is located near the Pamukale springs. It is better to get to it on foot and see the surroundings and walk along the remains of ancient roads, or take a shuttle bus or book an on-site tour. There is only one entrance to the springs and the ancient city. It cost 30 euros in January 2025 or as part of a museum pass- museum card for 90 euros

It is a very beautiful and majestic place. From the top of the amphitheater there is a beautiful view of the whole of Dalina. And when you sit in the role of a spectator, at some point you realize that for several thousand years people have been sitting here and watching the fights. At the moment, you involuntarily begin to experience unforgettable emotions and interesting thoughts come. The only point that should be taken into account is the lack of places where you can hide from the sun, it is better to go either earlier there or later, when the sun is not so scorching. There is a small tent nearby with drinks and snacks, so you won't die of thirst and you won't stay hungry if you suddenly didn't take anything with you. As a rule, guides with groups go there and tell the story of the amphitheater, if you come without a guide, you will still hear the story of its creation. Have a good time👍😁

A very interesting natural place.beautiful and unusual... But sooo many people! Everyone is different . It is almost impossible to photograph the ridge itself. Because of the number of tourists. There are also a lot of people in Cleopatra's pool, mud floats from the walls, and there are many large stones and columns at the bottom. You can knock your legs off. But if there were fewer people, you can probably see them all.the water is clear. We were given three hours to explore this attraction: the pool, the ridge itself and the theater of the ancient city. It's almost nothing. Everything is running, I didn't really enjoy it. I wish I had more. But a very beautiful natural area!

My legs are tired of walking)))))) The place is cool, there are plenty of tourists. Of the minuses, those who came in a group are served out of turn, because there are more money immediately for tickets, and if you come by yourself, you will wait until all the groups fly to the entrance. It is necessary to climb blindly((
