The staff is kind and friendly. The beach at the hotel is not very convenient... reefs, you don't buy it. There was no cleaning, although they tipped $ 2-5 every day, this did not change the situation. To complement the bathroom accessories: the same cotton swabs-no, you haven't heard. 3. The staff allowed themselves to touch personal belongings, that is, to take out a laptop, notepad, wallet and put it on the table-this is normal. 4. The loss of money from the bag in the room. I didn't swear, because I didn't want to raise my nerves. 5. They put the clothes in the laundry, returned them as if they had just rinsed them in water, dirty. At the reception, they took money for this service, they did not offer to wash it (perhaps because we were checking out the next morning), or maybe this is the norm for them, so wash it. 6. The reception is not aware of the transfers of its guests. On the penultimate day, I came up twice, asked what time the transfer was, the answer was: come later. Offer to wake up in the morning-no), you have not heard of such a service. 7. The Swedish line. That's horrible. If you are with a child, then there will be nothing to feed him. Everything is sharp. Of the advantages: there were few people, there were a lot of sun beds, you can swim in the pool safely, the depth is not great, it's not scary for a child. 11. Special thanks to the guards, they are cool there: humane, not intrusive, prompt, communicate, make sure that no outsider from the beach enters the hotel. I really liked them. 12. Cute palm squirrels, lizards, one small monitor lizard run around the hotel, children will be delighted with the animals.

Pros: the bay is great, you can swim; desserts are tastier than many places; there are chipmunks, turtles; the balcony and the view from the room are super; the solution to issues at the hotel is normal (but they may not understand even in English the first time); they ordered dry cleaning at the hotel (budget and good for quick washing / drying, but ingrained the stains will not be washed off - from the same crows); there are shops nearby, transport is close to Galle, and to Colombo as a whole is not far along the toll road. Cons: a lot of crows (they scream, leave waste products, can bite in the head); a small variety of dishes for main meals (there is practically no seafood, fish is not every time and only one kind of local - it's sad; we were upset by the food from the part - sometimes the bar slept to take burgers for a snack in the afternoon: they are excellent, French fries too; the assortment is almost the same in the main restaurant - there will be nothing to choose in 1.5-2 weeks); few fruits (mango only for breakfast, not every day and some trimmings; pineapple tasteless; only papaya pleased, but this is not enough for 4*); everything included is very selective - a lot of drinks were not included, even coffee in the afternoon, pinocollada or mojito. For Sri Lanka, as we understand it, this is a very good level. In general, we recommend it, if we take into account the points above.

I am currently vacationing at this hotel. I chose the hotel based on reviews. I want to share my impressions. They settled in quickly. The room is on the 4th floor. All rooms have ocean views and gorgeous terraces. On which, in addition to the standard table and 2 chairs, there is a comfortable couch. This is of course very cool. The linen and towels are snow-white, there are a lot of light bulbs in the room and enough electric lighting, there is sufficient water pressure in the bathroom and there are no interruptions. Cosmetics have everything you need and are of good quality. There is no toothpaste, brushes, washcloths, slippers and bathrobes. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable. The air conditioner and dehumidifier work perfectly. There is a kettle in the room. Tea, coffee, Sugar and cream are replenished daily. Plus two 0.5 bottles of water are left monthly. There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. In general, the room is quite decent. The closet is really small, but as experience has shown, elegant clothes are not needed here at all. I was ready for this, so I took only beach clothes and shoes. The beach is really the best in the area, thanks to the lagoon, the waves are a short distance away and you can swim a little. But the water is more often muddy. Tourists come to our beach from all over the world. At the same time, there is no crowd and there is enough space for everyone. The reef is dead. It is not true that they write that there is a good reef here. Of course there are fish, but very few. Every day, at high tide, small sharks swim in. It's fun to watch them. There are also turtles, as many write. The water is mostly cloudy .In addition, there is a strong undercurrent. You can swim, but you definitely won't be able to swim serenely. But I found pleasure in something else. The Indian Ocean is beautiful. You can admire his power and authority for hours. The sun beds in the hotel are located in close proximity to the beach, but independently from the common area. This is an absolute plus. Well, about nutrition. We have full board, I don't regret anything. Clean dishes, set tables, polite and fast waiters. Very comfortable. Mango, papaya, passion fruit, pineapple mini, bananas mini are three times on the menu. All fruits are ripe and very tasty. Especially passion fruit and papaya. They taste better here than, for example, in Thailand or Vietnam. The buffet menu. The choice of dishes is small, but when there is something to choose from. There are non-spicy dishes. That's what we eat. In conclusion, I want to say that the hotel is quite decent. You can safely book. If I return to Sri Lanka, it will only be to this hotel. Thank you.

By the way, water and tea in the restaurant are free for everyone, but sometimes I would like them to be taken out a little faster. We took half board and were satisfied, because we often went to Crab Snack for lunch. You can eat seafood there for 4-5 thousand rupees. Among the cleaning staff, we liked Dilhara (he cleaned very well and also made a lot of animals out of towels), Ishan and Madvshanka. Sometimes, however, after cleaning, they did not always give the whole set of clean towels. If there were any questions, the hotels responded as quickly as possible. Most of the questions were about the dehumidifier. We changed it several times, but then it didn't work, then they put a new one, but they forgot to connect the drain pipe, then it made a lot of noise. As a result, they put it on a slipper, set 50% and earned more or less quietly. There are many type A USB sockets in the room. There are enough charging cords for charging phones, as well as English sockets, each with a switch. I didn't like the refrigerator at all. It is better not to use it at all. There is also a ladder (also greetings from the old Englishwoman) and after a shower, water is often on the floor in the entire bathroom. All the guys worked perfectly on the beach. Mattresses and towels were always brought quickly. They lay everything themselves and open umbrellas. In August, because of the waves and the sandy beach, the water is cloudy, but warm. But on the left side you can walk along the rocks and observe corals and many beautiful fish. There are recesses of the "bath" and you can carefully look at the fish in a mask. Actually, August is not the season here, but it rains only in the morning until 9 a.m. and the main moment of the off-season is strong waves. There are locals on the public beach who sell everything more expensive and not always of high quality. And they also go there and persuade those who wear masks to go to the beach nearby to see the fish (10 minutes on foot - Hikkaduwa beach). Keep in mind that they will then beg for money from you under the guise of tickets. Don't rush into shopping at all. Take a look around and pause first. Of the cons, the food is peculiar. The main dishes are rich. It is not sharp to look for). But there is a cook who makes pasta to order. Vegetables, cheese and sausage are very small portions. Not everyone liked fruits either. But they have pastries for 5 and always have delicious fish and seafood. Another disadvantage is that there are really a lot of crows on the territory and their cries are slightly annoying. But overall, it's a great place! We really liked it. All minor issues are resolved quickly. This hotel fully deserves all its 4 stars, the beach is good, and the views and fauna here are a solid five. This is much better than 4 or even 5 in Turkey!

I gave 3 stars because of the specific situation: On the eve of an early departure for the tour, we ordered lunch boxes, because we stayed without breakfast. As a result, we were not given lunch boxes in the morning, due to the fact that the receptionist confused the day for which these lunch boxes were needed. I had to wait until lunch, it was not pleasant but bearable. Upon returning from the tour, the hotel management was informed about the situation, after which the hotel manager Natalie brought us "deep and sincere" apologies and promised to compensate for the negative with some kind of bonus. She promised to inform us about the compensation the next day. But neither the next day nor after, any bonuses were offered to us... The mistake of the reception staff is an annoying misunderstanding, but Natalie was very surprised by the lies of the head! What can you expect from ordinary employees if the hotel management allows itself such shoals! Otherwise, I liked everything. Excellent territory with tame chipmunks, delicious food and drinks, clean rooms and friendly staff.

They constantly ply the territory, but without straining, but when someone from a public beach tries to "lure" you)) or sell you something, then suddenly a guard appears) Strangely enough, when a person begins to be afraid of a monitor lizard, he is also right there))it made us very happy, we felt safe) there is an adult pool, which is always warm and a pool for kids) Sun beds, towels, bedding, everything is free) there is a gym, table tennis, yoga, pool bar) Rooms: we lived on the 2nd floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean! In general, the hotel, as we understood, is all looking at the ocean) constantly replenished water, tea, coffee, bath accessories (by the way, very cool!!). The cleaning is also excellent, they always came to a clean room and the child was delighted with the figures made of towels, for which special thanks to room man Madushanka! The beds are comfortable, there is a TV (but no Russian channels), air conditioning, dehumidifier (works like a helicopter loudly, but without it in any way-very humid air), glasses, cups, refrigerator, hangers, safe, etc. We took our clothes to the dry cleaners, washed everything perfectly, and within 1 day we already brought ironed and neatly folded things. Beach: the hotel is right on the beach, consider) from the building to the entrance to the sea 1 minute))) the beach is public, but the hotel is located on a hill separately, so everything is safe)) very nice sand on the coast, but sometimes there are pebbles and corals at the bottom of the ocean, so you still need to swim in sneakers) it gets deep quickly enough, but there is also a place for children to splash) the ocean is very warm and clean, it was dirty after the rains, but this is natural))) Turtles really are, really huge and really eat out of hand))🐢❤️ And, perhaps, the general feeling. We have been many, many places in the world, so there is definitely something to compare with) all three of us clearly noticed the responsiveness of all the hotel employees without exception. Not once in 15 days have I been refused, even to the stupidest requests))) and I asked what their smell is in the toilets in the diffusers))) and she asked me to warm up the pizza I bought in the middle of lunch, when it would seem that I was not up to it at all)) and they carefully put it on a plate for me and the cook took it out with the words: bon appetit)very sociable managers, cooks, waiters, security, bartenders, reception, but this is a sincere "how are you" and a sincere smile, and not because "it is necessary" and it feels right!) In Sri Lanka, there is a British heritage in the form of British sockets. There was one normal socket in the room where you can safely insert a euro plug, the rest sparked. 5) There are a huge number of cute chipmunks on the territory, sometimes monitor lizards crawled. 6) Indeed, huge sea turtles come to the beach near the hotel, which can be fed with algae. Minuses: 1) There are a huge number of ants in the room. In the shower there is black mold in the joints of the tiles. There was a clean bed in the room, but there was a terrible sofa next to it, with some kind of stains. There is a fire alarm sensor hanging above the bed, which has a very bright light bulb. She blinks, and interferes with sleep. I had to seal the light bulb. 2) We took only breakfast, it does not change, buffet. And everyone eats the same thing, there is always a queue for bacon and scrambled eggs, no one needs chicken curry. 3) The hotel itself is very small. 4) Many employees do not speak English well. But you won't get better) The prices are slightly above average, and do not match the menu, you will get 20% added to the bill, 10% tips plus 10% taxes. The hotel also has a buffet buffet, but the price tag for admission bites. In general, it can be recommended to visit.
