KHOJAHASAN VILLAGE MOSQUE A Temple That Bears the Traces of History The Hocahasan Village Mosque, located in the village of Hocahasan in the Kurşunlu district of Çankırı, is a valuable cultural heritage that has survived from the Ottoman period to the present day. the mosque, which was built in 1902-1903, amazes those who see it with its architecture. The mosque attracts attention with its internal baghdadi dome with pulleys and solid walls built with a combination of rubble stone and cut stone. This building, which bears the traces of traditional Ottoman mosque architecture, has gained an even more magnificent appearance with its single serefeli minaret added in 1960. The interior is decorated with decorations, pencil-work motifs and curbs written in Arabic, offering a historical atmosphere to its visitors. The village of Khojahasan is located 39 km from the city center of Çankırı and 15 km from the district center of Kurşunlu. The mosque located in this village, which stands out with its historical texture and natural beauties, retains the property of being a sacred place where the people of the region have performed their worship for centuries. Visiting this unique structure, which comes from the depths of history, offers an unforgettable experience for those who want to see the intricacies of Ottoman architecture up close and feel spiritual peace.
