I packed up quickly and we drove off. Who doesn't know, hogo is literally translated as a hot pot. On specially equipped tables, where there is a heating element (more often an electric stove), they put a saucepan or a pot with broth to choose from (in Kazakhstan, this is meat broth). You can also determine the sharpness of the broth initially and on which meat - beef, lamb, fish and chicken (I took chicken 😜) And then you choose the ingredients. Different types of meat, fish, tofu, mushrooms, vegetables, herbs, noodles. The choice is very large. And then you sit and cook the selected ingredients, fish them out, dip them in a specially prepared AWESOME sauce. In my fright, I picked up a bunch of everything: fried tofu, asparagus, sprouted soy, spinach, glass noodles, potatoes, wood mushrooms, cilantro, cauliflower. Their portions are quite large, as it turned out. We must expect that one plate of each ingredient will be enough for at least three pots. It was incredibly delicious, but I only ate 20% of each product. I took the rest home.
