Very nice and beautiful view. They work until 18.00, sort of. We came 5 minutes before closing, not knowing, but no one kicked us out. We stayed there for 30 minutes. If you are thinking of going on a picnic there to see Batumi, then forget it. You can't do anything like that there. But on the gonio cross, you can admire the view and have a small picnic. Here you can only enjoy the beauty of the church and the view

You can get there by taxi or by car. Parking at the entrance is charged 2 GEL. There is an impressive panorama of the Batumi Bay and the city itself. The navigator took a short route through the village roads ... we gained impressions while climbing the mountain, and so it turns out there is a great road straight to the monastery. The surprise was caused by the ringing of bells , it is not heard at all in the city .

The experience of visiting on a personal car. The road is narrow, it was difficult to part with oncoming traffic. There's not even free parking upstairs. 2 GEL for a narrow parking space at grandma's. The monastery itself is beautiful. Views too. I do not recommend using my own car.

Also, the taxi driver got a little confused with the interchanges at the top and brought us to the monastery territory from the wrong side.
