a very good museum, modern, beautiful and interesting , several galleries, now the exhibition "Forbidden City" - Beijing is presented in galleries 1 to 7 I got there, so to speak, by flying (there was supposed to be a concert on the site nearby, so as not to waste time - I decided to spend the day at the museum) - I did not regret at all that I went (unlike the historical museum) in addition to the galleries themselves, there is an observation deck and interesting interactive screens (you can practice calligraphy and all that) . The location of the museum is also excellent - you can walk in the park and along the embankment - take gorgeous photos, see how the locals (mostly young people) relax festivals are also held there - half of the day can be safely allocated for visiting these parks with a museum.

One of the best historical museums I've seen. And it's definitely worth a visit if you have free time in Hong Kong. In 2 hours, you can walk around the entire museum in a calm mode. The first 7 floors are the main exhibition, it is beautiful. The 8th and 9th floors are temporary. Now there is an exhibition that moved from Beijing about the connection between France and China in the 18th century. You can skip it. Lifehack: at the entrance, you can buy a ticket only for the main exhibition, and for an additional one already on the 7th floor at a self-service vending machine, if you have enough energy/ time to continue. There are 2 outdoor observation decks with beautiful views of the bay.

It's a great museum, with lots of different galleries and changing exhibitions. Everything is interesting, noteworthy and informative. Even the architecture of the building is a separate attraction, as is the entire art cluster around the museum. In good weather, you can easily and with pleasure spend the whole day.
