Very tasty. The restaurant has exceeded expectations and can give a head start to many restaurants in Moscow. Excellent service, the waiter was attentive and unobtrusive, the interior was cozy and stylish.
I ordered a burat and a horsemeat steak. The steak was great: tender juicy meat, mushroom sauce perfectly complemented the taste of the meat. Just nothing superfluous! I tried a poppy seed pie for dessert.
We got into the restaurant without prior reservation on 02.01.25.

Undoubtedly, this is one of the best original restaurants in Almaty. The first, or tenth, is the taste and color, but this is a very high-quality, incredibly tasty and imaginative cuisine. From snacks - phalanx of crab, scallops, toast with crab make you come back again and again, and then again… For the main dishes - of course horse meat, octopus, but however you can take everything, according to mood, weather, company and wallet filling, almost everything is delicious. For wines, call the sommelier, he is well in the subject, the advice is not empty. Well, the staff is friendly, without intrusiveness, so I went, I go and I will go! :)

A decent place with excellent author's cuisine and a good selection of wines. The service is generally good, but the admin and one waiter I don't remember the name are a little unfriendly. Furniture on the summer terrace, especially sofas, is not comfortable. But these are small things, the main thing is that it is delicious and the level of cuisine is maintained.

I found myself in this restaurant by chance - I met a friend, a great gourmet, at the exit of the "Good Year". Well, I think if he comes here, it means it's delicious here. And I was not mistaken. This restaurant serves fantastically delicious dishes. Yes, they are unusual, but luxurious in their taste qualities. And the staff is generally gorgeous. Very attentive and well-mannered waiters, just great. And what delicious bread is baked in this restaurant and served with butter is beyond words.

I went in during the rain, thank God there was a free table, ate salmon salad and Borodino toast with crab - it's so delicious, just drop your head! At the end, they gave a wet, heated napkin to wipe their hands. It is always very tasty, quiet and cozy. I'm not afraid to say that this place has some of the most delicious breakfasts in the city.
After the gastronomically developed St. Petersburg, it is quite difficult to find a professional cuisine in Almaty. However, the "Good Year" does not lag behind in its ability to feed nutritiously and deliciously.
The only factor (not at all related to the staff and the concept of the restaurant) that can be a little confusing is the contingent. Every time I watched the tables of people who were completely uncultured and treated the waiters like servants. Ugh!

A good place, but without enthusiasm, which I followed and prepared to get there. The food in general is not bad, but each dish was definitely not up to something. Tartlet with crab and red caviar is tender but with an obvious overkill of the curd mass, which clogged the taste of seafood. Salad with artichokes is delicious, but there is practically no dressing and without obvious notes of taste. And greens can be used more decently than iceberg lettuce. The duck pasta didn't look at all presentable for a restaurant of this level, and there were flaws in the taste too. The service is without complaints, the pilot is excellent

I still lower the score for too high prices and rather modest portions. For such prices, it was possible to throw a lot of dishes at 20 percent for sure.

One disadvantage is that it is difficult to hold business lunches and dinners, visitors often come with infants, strollers, alas, but noise, noise interferes and quarantine, in such cases, it is difficult to observe, the halls are very small. That's why we often sit at meetings in Olivier, La Barca or somewhere in restaurants outside the old center. Otherwise, everything is fine!
