In short, we were not allowed into the hotel because of the late arrival, they demanded to pay extra money, the owner got into a fight. We were traveling with two small children from Belgrade. We had to check in on time, however, our car broke down and we spent several hours at the service station. We called the owner and informed him about the problems with the car and that we would arrive later than planned. We arrived around 22:00, we were met by a completely angry host and refused to let us in. He demanded to pay for the room again. We called the police, and I took out my phone to videotape his refusal and behavior. At that, he rushed at me with his fists, almost hit me in the face. I jumped back in time, there was no fight. The fact that the time was later, two small children aged 3 and 4 were with us - for him it was absolutely not an argument. He wanted to make more money on us and actually put us out on the street on a cold night. The hotel was prepaid through booking, the prepayment was not returned to us. We travel often, but this is the first time we have met such an attitude.
