Pools - the cleanest, pleasant water, a private pool bar 18+. By the way, September is considered out of season and there are very few people, but in fact it rains every day for a few minutes and then the sun all day. We stayed at this hotel for 2 years with a child, we really liked the service, attentive staff, delicious food and varied, a la carte restaurants are varied and free of charge, the pools are clean, there are many animals on the territory you can see monkeys, monitor lizards or parrots. The sea is mostly full of waves , you don 't really buy with children , but there is a bay nearby. You can get there by tuk tuk without any problems , Kamal will take you on excursions cheaper than from a tour operator. Spare no money for a room with a sea view , we took both the Side and the central one , it's just a beauty .

Always fresh fruits and desserts! Three large swimming pools, beautiful nature, responsive, kind and friendly staff! These people are happy to see you! Beautiful oceanfront hotel. Very tasty and varied cuisine. A beautiful pool with sunset views and a sea of delicious cocktails. Our room had an ocean view. The magnificent design of the room and the cleanliness were amazing. Good animation, friendly staff is probably due to the peculiarity of the local mentality. Local taxis park next to the hotel, which drive cheaply to the nearest lagoon on the beach. I recommend this hotel!

I liked the beach in Unawatuna, we swam there. Bentota is a bit boring. But the hotel itself is beautiful in every way.

Every evening there are performances with dancers. There are enough sun beds for everyone, there were no problems with this. From the hotel, you can easily get to neighboring towns by tuk-tuk. There were no problems with excursions either, we took them from Bootie (+94 (76) 564 1403). First, we took them to Halle, drove them comfortably, and if there were beautiful places along the way, we stopped for photos. Very attentive attitude to tourists. We went to the Botanical Garden where they sell local medicines, it is not far from the hotel, I want to warn you not to buy any pills and medicines from them, these medicines are suitable only for locals, their diet and life are completely different, these medicines are completely unsuitable for us in their structure, you can suffer very much, I checked on myself. If you're going somewhere by tuk-tuk, take it one way, so you arrange to go to the lagoon for two hours, for example, after 15 minutes they start to whine when we go back. Excellent hotel 🥰 It takes 2 hours from Colombo Airport to the hotel - the transfer is also excellent. The room is clean, spacious, and has a comfortable balcony and ocean view. I really enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves - a complete relaxation. 10/10 meals: for a family with two children aged 10 and 9, the menu is excellent. A separate recommendation: be sure to try French fries - they are so delicious. The pools are clean, and the drinks of your choice are at the Flamingo Bar. There is a Russian-speaking staff member at the reception who will help with check-in. There is also a wonderful gym with exercise equipment on site. We had a rest on 02/16/24/25 - it was mostly sunny all the days and 2 days with clouds. We took the tour to two locations at once: an elephant nursery and a tea factory. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed absolutely everything - it was the most exotic vacation for my family and me - the hot sun in February.

It wasn't our first time visiting this hotel chain. I can say that this is definitely a solid 5-star rating in this region. The hotel is clean everywhere (rooms, common areas, swimming pool, dining room), all the time the staff cleans during the day. The food is very diverse, there is everything your heart desires (all kinds of meat, shrimp, fish, crabs, squid, vegetables, fruits, etc.). All the a la carte restaurants also offer delicious and varied food (recording takes place via the RIU app). There is a swimming pool with an adult-only bar, where children are not allowed to swim, which is just great for adult guests. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The ocean was wild, we hardly swam, but it didn't spoil our rest in any way. There are always free sun beds. I definitely recommend it and would come back.

I left the beautiful RIU hotel a week ago and would like to share my opinion about this place. Initially, when planning a trip to Sri Lanka, I dreamed of living away from the noisy city and crowded, in nature, among the jungle - this hotel is located there)). The incredibly dense and green jungle was pleasing with its brightness even in cloudy weather. The hotel grounds are beautiful. It's not very big, but everything is very spacious, with beautiful plants, lizards, chipmunks – there is life everywhere. I really liked the interior of the rooms, the hotel itself and the pools. The pools are divided into: children's (with a volleyball net and a water polo gate); adult (with tables, chairs and a bar in the water); and a general view (with sun beds). The day program is very interesting: water aerobics, water polo, volleyball, bingo, jogging on mats in the water – and much more, happening both in the children's and adult pools. A very nice man, Delum, did water aerobics every day at 12 o'clock. She was funny, incendiary, with great music, and her muscles always ached after her. Sometimes the charming and smiling animator Anupama came to the aqua aerobics (he also conducts programs at the adult pool and bingo). It was always a pleasure to communicate with him, it was hard to refuse when he invited me to participate in something. He had a nice conversation and was always happy to see my family. I am very grateful to him for the smiles he gave me, for the best mood during my vacation, he is incredibly cute.It was he who became the bright final chord of my trip, leaving incredible impressions about the country and the people in it, showing how kind and polite their culture is, which respects and loves other people. The whole staff was very kind and polite, always answered all questions, even multiple ones. The rooms were perfectly clean every day – the best cleaning I have ever seen. Beautiful towel figurines were waiting for us on the bed every day. Every evening there were shows at the hotel: two dance shows by animators (the guys are great actors and very incendiary!), two shows with national songs and dances (I was very impressed, I couldn't help smiling and admiring), live music by local singers and two discos with good music (I danced with pleasure). The food was very tasty: fresh and sweet fruits, fresh and delicious fish, there was a chocolate fountain twice. We also visited the Italian restaurant in the hotel, where I tried lasagna… It was incredibly delicious, just like in Italy! I've been dreaming about this kind of lasagna for a long time, thank you. The sea and the beach were clean, and, importantly for the girls, almost deserted! A huge beach for photos is at your service!)) The only negative is the intrusive locals with their suggestions, even if they are not needed. For the first few days, I didn't want to go to the beach because of this… As a girl, men immediately attacked me, and I felt uncomfortable. Then I got used to it, and they kind of fell behind. Thank you very much to this hotel and the staff, I was incredibly sad to leave, every day I review my videos and photos from there and miss you very much 💔 I already want to return 🥹 I did not regret choosing this place 🫶🏻💘

My first time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is of a very good standard. Tourism in the country is only developing. There's a lot to see. Three Ala-kart restaurants: Japanese, Italian cuisine and barbecue. You can visit each one THREE times, by appointment. The staff is friendly. The locals outside the hotel are clingy. They sell their services, which are three to five times more expensive than usual. Therefore, be sure to bargain! Everything that the locals offer is solely for their benefit, you are secondary, you are a wallet. All tours are only from the hotel! The beach is sandy. The ocean is magical! It was December, and the waves were moderate. Features of swimming in the ocean: you can not swim far, there is a strong reverse wave near the shore that can lead into the ocean. The wave covers your head, you can't get out dry :) The sun is dangerous, a lot of people are burned, although the sky is cloudy. Lizards walk along the beach, they are not dangerous. Monkeys have been seen on the territory of the hotel, chipmunks are scurrying. I will come to Sri Lanka again if possible. I'll give the RUI Hotel 5+

Just a gorgeous hotel! We were extremely pleased! 2 hours from Matalla airport. We were checked in at 3 o'clock. If it is possible to pay 10,000 rubles extra for a side sea view, you will not regret taking it. The room has everything you need (except a brush and paste, but we brought them with us). The entire mini bar is included (cola, fanta, sprite, water, juice). Everything else is standard:a bed, a sofa, a closet, and so on, but the coolest thing is the balcony... when the child was asleep, my husband and I could hang out there for hours. The main Restaurant is just great! I just ate too much tuna and shrimp for half a year ahead. There were lobsters and even crabs for Christmas dinner! If you don't like seafood, then there was pork, beef, and chicken. During breakfast/lunch/dinner, the waiters serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There are 4 swimming pools (18+ with a bar, a children's pool with slides, for active games and a regular one), an area for evening shows, and a beach area. In the bars, the staff pours incredibly delicious cocktails. The only drawback is that the hotel has very large waves and strong back currents, and the rescuers on the shore are only local, who, by the way, are insanely annoying. We rode a tuk tuk to the so-called lagoon (2 dollars - 600 rupees). So they forgot to pick us up from there... well, I took the number of the main tuk tuker. In the same lagoon, the divorce continues. A local man comes up and starts spreading them, saying take a sunbed and an umbrella for 2000 rupees and then you won't have any problems. And the waves there are not much smaller than in the hotel. There is also a lagoon to the right of the hotel, but another local sticks around and will just stand over his soul and offer a turtle farm. You can go to beautiful beaches one at a time, but this imposition is just terrible. During the week, we went on a two-day Ella and Kandy tour from the tour operator and did not regret it, as there is such a serpentine - it is better to overpay for security. And for an individual excursion to Bentota and Halle via danytour - we didn't regret it. There is a village outside the hotel, there is nowhere to go out. In general, each hotel has its pros and cons. The hotel is gorgeous, everything outside is sad.

I get the impression that she's been everywhere and knows all the countries and hotels))) About food ... well, the food practically does not change from day to day, but the variety always allows you to choose something delicious! Meat, fish, shrimp, chicken in all kinds... The soups are not delicious, unfortunately. For lovers of sweets, the choice is so-so (everything is kind of monotonous), not to compare with Turkey, but there is ice cream, fresh fruit, and even a chocolate fountain. I liked the two A la carte restaurants. Only in Italian, we didn't immediately understand that we should order the main course))) There is not a lot of choice for a child, but there are always potatoes, noodles, vegetables, fruits, yoghurts, meat is not spicy, eggs. My husband says the alcohol is tolerable, The wine is delicious, but it causes heartburn)) Everyone's body is different)) Non-alcoholic cocktails are delicious. The main drink is iced coffee with milk... the ocean is raging and only the brave can swim. But we went out and admired the waves, breathed in the sea air. We saw monitor lizards, palm squirrels and all kinds of birds... we bought the cheapest room, but there were three of us adults and a baby. But, thanks to the hotel management, in addition to the two double beds available, we were provided with an extra single bed and no extra charges!!!! All I did was write a request in advance to the company's email address. In addition, we were given the best possible room. 4129 - a beautiful view of some church and part of the ocean is also visible, and at the same time it is not noisy, not damp, there are no foreign odors and insects do not reach.. Mattresses and pillows are very comfortable, although our daughter is picky in this regard. This is the first time I've seen room cleaning like this... This is aerobatics. Considering that our toys and things were always scattered, as it is impossible to hide everything from the child.. So, we came and everything was put on the shelves... Always original towel figurines... Clean floor, shower, toilet, balcony.. In general, thanks to the staff for such work!! It was very nice to thank them for that! The family pool is clean and the water is warm. It only cheered me up when men and women without children went into this pool, and even with alcohol. Although, there are 2 more adult pools for them. There's one right at the bar... the animators are working really well, concerts and live performances in the evenings. There's a nightclub, but we didn't go there. We did not go on excursions. We only visited the supermarket in our village and drove to the city a couple of times. By the way, I want to thank tuk-tuker. Anu', he's standing near the main gate. The guy speaks Russian well, helps to bargain, recommends where it is better to buy and where to go... I highly recommend it. He didn't take us very far for a massage. 20 bucks-1 hour. They do it well. Travel through the village for 1 buck in two directions (for example, to the supermarket) We took fruit home with us. Red Wings Airlines allows you to take a 5 kg basket in your luggage for 150 bucks. Small baskets are sold in the city for 700 rupees directly at fruit stalls. But I must admit that in Novosibirsk for this money you can buy fruits no worse ... I have a request, buy fruits from a boy of 9 years old, he is so incredible.. Hello, my family and I are visitors to this hotel on the recommendation of friends. We were very satisfied , the food is good , the food is of high quality . There were a lot of people, but the hotel was well prepared and there was enough room for everyone. The cleaning is great! Chipmunks and monitor lizards run around the territory. This is amazing! The best vacation, the best hotel ! I really liked everything! Abundance of seafood and fruits! People are just smart ! They are very attentive to every guest! Some kind of animal is constantly running around the territory, some birds, some monitor lizards, then crabs))) the ocean near the Buyny hotel, if you can say so, swimming is really unrealistic! But don't relax, take a tuk tuk for 5 minutes and you're on a calm beach) and if you drive 30 minutes to Hikaduwa beach, you can swim and feed the turtles there!

The hotel is cool, especially for Sri Lanka. Good territory, normal rooms and, most importantly, excellent food, there is something to compare it with. They pour local booze, but decent. The pools are good. It's better not to go outside the territory, it's not Thai or even Bali and Cuba. In fact, in a quiet village. All excursions are very long, only the round trip takes 4-6 hours. We were out of season, it really rained constantly, the humidity is wild in the rooms, you don't even have to iron things. There are no slippers or bathrobes in the rooms. Shampoos and a small mini soda bar. For a relaxing holiday without leaving the hotel, that's the thing. We flew flydubai from Moscow with a short transfer of 3 hours. For 11 nights, along with overnight flights, it cost 130 thousand per person. It makes no sense to go here more expensive. For a one-time trip and exploring Sri Lanka, it is normal. The contingent is mixed, there are regions from the Russian Federation with all the consequences in terms of clothing and behavior at the bar and in the pool. The main disadvantage is that large groups of Indians often came to the hotel, etc., for a couple of days, something like off-site corporate events - noise, hubbub, jostling in the canteen. In Spain, this grid is, of course, cooler, and the price tag is too. In general, I recommend this to be the best hotel in this region.

The territory of the hotel is compact, palm trees have grown between the hotel and the beach (so the photos on the official website also need to be changed). The staff is friendly. On the playground for active games (boccia, volleyball) There is a constant sewage smell due to the surface discharge of sewage from the hotel. The sand is always wet. It's kind of unpleasant to play and inhale sewer odors. Moreover, this has been the case for all these years - nothing has changed. 2. The bar has a limited amount of Calypso rum compared to previous years. The bartenders at the pool primarily serve English-speaking vacationers, which is also not a very pleasant moment. 3. I would like to see daily information about the upcoming events of the day held by the animators. We wish all future vacationers a great holiday! We plan to return to Rio next year.
