They were in March 2024. In general, I liked everything. It looks like a Turkish hotel. The food is European, you won't stay hungry, but monotonous. There is not much more variety in Alaska. The alcohol was local. The beer is normal, the whiskey is tolerable. On their new moon eve, alcohol was not given all day, not even beer. All the staff is attentive and diligent. The rooms are quite fresh, cleaned well and quickly. We are glad if you leave 100 rupees (30 rubles), they will make animals out of towels. They haven't been repeated in 10 days. Of the cons, it is dangerous to swim in the ocean at the hotel (a large wave and a reverse current). We went by tuk tuk to the lagoon. It's not calm there either, but the wave is smaller. Tuk tukers right at the hotel, who speak Russian, can take you to shops, on excursions, etc. I gave 390 bucks for an upgrade of the room, a sea view from the territory and 5, the top floor. I didn't regret it, especially when it rained all day. It's beautiful and not particularly audible to Russian vacationers until the morning. There are rooms with sea views in the end, it's quieter there, but everyone was busy. Out of the unpleasant, when I changed dollars before the 2007 issue, I was looked at as a counterfeiter. But what I didn't like the most was children's entertainment and food. They just don't exist! The hotel positions itself that they have done a lot for children, in fact nothing! An isolated pool with cold water.. The kids' club is more like a barn.. There is no food and a children's table at all! This was very frustrating, because we were traveling with a child of 1.6 years old and there was a whole quest to eat! Sri is beautiful, the hotel is 4 stars maximum))

Excellent access to the sea, you can take a tuk tuk to the neighboring lagoon (the water is calm there, I recommend it), a good sauna - something like a hammam and a swimming pool (included in the price). Good elevators, even when the electricity goes out (this is the norm for Sri Lanka - they will take you there). The list also includes two restaurants by appointment, with Japanese and Italian motifs - recommended to visit. One of the disadvantages, so to speak, is a funny gym, almost opposite the reception, where everyone is wandering around, the artists don't seem to sing badly, but it hurts my ear, the show is also designed more for locals, well, the most unpleasant thing for me was constantly passing by the reception: you go to the beach, past the main entrance / past the reception desk, walking from the beach / pool / restaurant / yes from anywhere, everything is past his native.
