I liked everything except the coastline with waves.You can probably make rocks out of something like a lagoon to protect from the surf.There are no comments on nutrition in restaurants, but there is nowhere else to have a snack outside of the restaurant's opening hours.The flight arrival schedule is devised so cunningly that they bring it late, but they don't even let you have breakfast early.Actually stealing a day off!If you want to reschedule your flight later, you will need to pay a second time for the stolen day.It's a clever idea.

It 's not a bad hotel , but there is something to work on ! A room with one outlet in the room... no bathrobes , slippers . The slippers were barely begged , along with a dental kit . The quality of the drinks in the bar is complete bullshit. And even for money , no one will do anything decent to you . They do not know such words 😅 no " Margaritas" and Aperol are offered here . There is no late-night restaurant, although it is very convenient (if you are on a guided tour or with children). If you come to the restaurant in 1520 minutes, you can find a cleaned buffet and they wave at you, like "everything is closed"….Every morning, a bird screamed in a heart-rending voice starting at 4 a.m. (inside the hotel in the green zone). In general, if you are positive and came in a noisy company , it may turn out to be small things . The Hotel cannot be called a bad one . It was our first vacation in Sri Lanka. Maybe it 's five races there , but for me 4 is a stretch . That's why I was surprised by 5*. Among the advantages: you can have dinner in three restaurants of your choice, you do not need to make an appointment in advance - the main one, Italian and Asian. I liked Italian better. If with children , it 's better to go to the main one . We were at New Year's and Christmas : tables were set , snacks were served and champagne ( not bad ) flowed like a river . It was a wonderful and very long fireworks display - thank you! There is also a small but cute shop with jewelry with natural stones. In general, have a good rest and good mood!

Room cleaning is just top. The rooms are large and spacious. Unfortunately, we did not go to the beach because of the huge waves, and we have a small child, 2.5 years old. Great pools, especially a super pool with a bar where you can only 18+ (no one splashes or jumps on you, it's quiet and good). A huge variety of food for every taste - and seafood is always with fish, meat, vegetarian dishes, you will not stay hungry. There are three more restaurants: Italian and Japanese (without recording both) and grill (recording at the reception). The bartenders are really good. The bars are open almost around the clock, with a short break from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Alcohol is imported, except for Arrack. Round-the-clock security, really watching every little thing. We really liked everything! Let's come back again.

We were completely delighted with the hotel and the staff. Everything is clean on the territory, dirty dishes are cleaned very quickly in restaurants and bars. It feels like the whole hotel is being washed and cleaned around the clock. We were very impressed by the evening shows, new shows every day for two weeks of vacation. This is the first vacation after which we don't want to go home to eat something delicious. Special thanks to the locals who met us at the exit to the beach. Decent alcohol (all bottled, although much is locally produced), very diverse and delicious buffet food (crabs, tuna, shrimp), 2 free ala-carte restaurants (Asian and Italian). It's fun in the evening - concerts, cocktails, such a big party. But it's a little cramped in the daytime. We were just going on a field trip. The hotel will offer you a two-day tour of the island - cool, I really liked it. But the rest of the days we were entertained by local guys. We were shown amazing places on tuk-tuks: waterfalls with monkeys, river safaris with crocodiles, a turtle farm, beautiful empty beaches, local shops and much more. Although it is clean, it is very dangerous to swim, the current from the shore does not actually allow you to return. There were cases when they went behind the wave and pulled it out only with the help of a winch. The town around the hotel is about nothing. There is no point in buying expensive fruits, because there is a greater variety of them inside the hotel and everything is included. Only pineapples were taken on the way back. Leaving the hotel on the left, there is a liquor store within 200 meters, the red Rum "Calypso" is awesome. For fans of a purely hotel holiday, this is just the place. The staff is very pleasant, polite, respond to any request. Almost everyone understands Russian, but they don't speak enough Russian. Every evening he plays a live ensemble or themed local-calorite dances.

We spent an unforgettable 13 days with my wife at the Hotel RIU Sri Lanka. The hotel was chosen on the recommendation of friends. I liked absolutely EVERYTHING about the hotel. The food is delicious, varied and for every taste. The service is at the highest level. The staff is SUPER, they actively learn Russian because of the large number of tourists from Russia. The room was cleaned perfectly. The beach is certainly not for swimming because of the big waves (I especially do not recommend it with small children), but there is a lagoon nearby, where you can swim without big waves. There are three pools on site. One of them has an adult-only bar, which is nice if you are relaxing without children. The choice of drinks is huge, we tried almost everything, with dignity. We will be happy to return to this hotel again.

We flew to the Palms in general, but after three days of staying there, we bought rooms at this hotel. Only negative emotions remained from The Palms Hostel. And here everything is as it should be. The kitchen has surprised me during the time that we have been there, there is always something different. Everything is in sufficient quantity. Alcohol is included, my wife and I took 1 liter of gin, 3 liters of whiskey with us, left half in the room on departure, so it's unnecessary for me to take alcohol, well, of course, except wine, there is a problem with it as everywhere. The rooms are clean, they don't insist on cleaning. A recreation area, which is on the beach, which is often on the territory of the hotel. Yes, you need to fight with sleep for a place on a cool deck chair, since at 9 everything is occupied by the pool with a bar, someone burns down for lunch and hooray, the deck chairs are free.
