The pool is divided into 3 parts: children's shallow, regular medium and deep - you can jump. Don't be fooled by photos on the Internet. They don't match at all. The hotel is very old. The staff is completely unwilling to vacationers. Only the guards at the barriers are nice and smiling. It's better to go to breakfast earlier. If you arrive later than 9:40, nothing will happen. In the restaurant, the staff does not understand a single word of English. Everything is done with disdain. The audibility is strong in the room. The neighbors can be heard clearly. The pool is one with a split bottom, the other with green muddy water. Take a fumigator with you. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room. This hotel was taken as just a place to store things, but it's not worth it for that either.

The hotel is conveniently located between first and second streets. There are many cafes nearby and the sea is within walking distance. The hotel positions itself as a 4*, in my opinion:weak 3*. There is only one large towel per person in the room, there are no face towels. There are no slippers, I will keep silent about the robe. Two separate beds, one chair. We were in a building without a balcony, there was simply nowhere to dry our swimsuits and underwear. The sink was constantly leaking, and the plumber who was called said that we were pouring it ourselves. The air conditioner is a common system, condensation poured several times (a glass was substituted), again, it was their own fault.. according to the repairman's version. In 10 days, the linen was changed once, towels every day. Beach towels were taken in the evening, because in the morning they simply were not there. Breakfast is a standard buffet for every taste: meat, rice, vegetables, fruits, pastries, soups, drinks. We liked it, you definitely won't stay hungry. Pool: the water is chlorinated from 21h, but in the morning there is still a smell. There are broken tiles in the shallow water, the fragments were simply removed and no one repaired the holes even with cement. The other building has rooms with balconies (+500 Baht per day if you are "lucky" to get into another building), a better pool, and a children's place. In general, the territory of the hotel is very green and blooming, and if you do not pay attention to the little things, you can have a good rest in it. Still, I put 4* just for that and also a great location.

A little further away is Alcazar, Tiffany. CentralMarina shopping center, Terminal21. Nice green courtyard, swimming pool. About the nuance a little bit more. Cars and bikes are parked on the road. This is also part of the territory. I liked the room, it's spacious enough, and the bathroom is also normal. Towels were changed every day, but there is a nuance :-). Shampoos, water (2 bottles) every day. Kettle, tea, coffee. Pretty good sound insulation (we haven't heard from the neighbors), but there is a caveat :-)). And now about the NUANCES! That 's the impression . that there are several hotels of different categories under the same name. We lived in two (three) storey buildings. why 2-3, yes, according to the chessboard principle. The first floor has windows directly on the ground to the courtyard, the second, on which we lived, with a slight displacement of half a floor and the third above us. There are several such cases. The pool is small. There are only TWO large and one small towels on the bathroom floor. SOUND INSULATION, our Windows faced the passage and towards the market. The music rumbles there for up to 24 hours.Cars, bikes and revelers move all night, not all in silence :-)). And now one more NUANCE - the second territory with three (four) storey buildings. Apparently, they think the same way as in our case. Rooms with balconies, even the ground floor. The pool is much bigger. Due to the lack of any dryers in our room, we wanted to switch to a room with a balcony, we were offered an exchange with an additional payment of 500 baht per day. 5,000 in ten days. They refused. We've found another use for them! And they found a way out with the dryer. We always go to Tai with a clothesline and clothespins, so when the water drips from the swimming trunks and swimsuit, we hung them on the window curtains, fortunately that they are double and thick. The air conditioner provides constant blowing. Everything dried up fine until the next day. Based on how WE lived and from the photos posted on the hotel's website, there are several levels of comfort. Therefore, if you want 4 stars, choose more expensive, and if you decide to save money, then count on 2 rather than be completely disappointed. But travel agencies give everyone a 4. By the way, we were in Thailand seven years ago. The shifts are quite noticeable. The city has become much cleaner, and so has the sea. Standing up to your chest in the water, you can see the bottom. So COME ON!

They put me in a disgusting room, small, with a view into the wall of another building from the window! I had to pay 7000 baht (20,000 rubles!) for moving to a more comfortable room. The hotel needs renovation! After four days of living, water started dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom, which turned out to be from the air conditioner. For the same reason, the ceiling collapsed in the hallway the day before. Breakfast is the same every day, only a couple of dishes have changed. There are no complaints about the staff, they are friendly. We had a vacation abroad for the first time, there is nothing to compare it with! Just my opinion!

The hotel is old, in need of repair, the rooms are dirty, you can not hope for high-quality cleaning even for tips, doors, furniture, air conditioning, sound insulation leave much to be desired. You can count on the responsiveness and quick reaction of the staff, they will smile at all comments and requests and promise that the administrator will come, look and fix everything, but every time they find reasons and postpone promises for tomorrow. Many thanks to the tour operator Level Travel, who accepted all the pain and made compensation through a discount on the tour. One plus is the Tropics, this is the first line, perhaps it will be very important for someone, I mean those who plan a daily beach holiday in far unclean water.

The hotel is terrible. Don't get fooled by the beautiful pictures on the websites. I don't know where the positive feedback comes from, but I hope my photos will reliably show you what form he is in now. The pool is dirty, it's scary to approach it, not that swimming from it is like bubbles coming out of a swamp, I attach a photo. I had to wash the floor because it was disgusting to walk on it with my feet, they turned black and sticky in a second, I will say right away that I do not expect cleanliness from Thai hotels, but this one is shocking. The curtains are black with dirt and dust, you will find everything under the bed, the balcony has not been washed for six months for sure. Unfortunately, the photo does not convey the smell in the room that comes from the grid in the wall of the so-called air conditioner, the smell of sewage, dampness and who knows what else. To my complaint that I was sick of this smell, they politely smiled and came with a spray of freshener. I had to smother the linen and curtains with my perfume in order to somehow survive these 2 days! We were lucky that we decided to rent this hotel only for such a period to begin with) The only plus is that all the staff are very polite 😂

The hotel itself is quiet, the street is not audible due to the location. The furniture in the rooms is old, the door to the toilet was poorly closed. The air conditioner didn't work well, especially during the day. Sometimes I blacked out at night. There was a refrigerator in the room, it worked well. There was hot water in the shower, but not immediately. You need to turn it on and wait. Melt the bathhouse, so to speak. There are broken sun beds on the territory. Everything is clean, cleaned, the pool is being cleaned I met a snake on the territory, I was very scared There is a gym around the clock, I have never been there. The staff is polite, they settled in quickly. There was no breakfast at the hotel (there are plenty of good cafes nearby). There is a currency exchange near the hotel. The 7/11 store, where you can buy everything you need. Overall, the hotel represents an ideal value for money.

We went out to the store and returned — the card does not work. We left in the morning and returned in the evening — the card does not work. I constantly had to run to the reception and rewire the card to enter the room. 5. Problems with the wiring. You turn off the light in the toilet — the light in the main room flashes. You turn off the light in the room, the TV goes out. The only significant advantage is the location. Otherwise, I do not recommend it, we will not return here again.

I had a rest in March 2024. It is located next to Beachroad Street, about 200 meters from the sea. In principle, a quiet hotel, although located next to a noisy street, 2 swimming pools. There was almost always one person swimming in the pools during the day. Cons: there are few sun loungers, the rooms are a little tired. Pros: Quiet, green area, cleaned every day (bed is changed every 6-7 days), normal breakfasts, do not bother. Fruits include watermelon, pineapple, plus papaya or dragon fruit. We had a rest in November 2018. The excellent location of the hotel is between beach road and second road. At the same time, the hotel is very quiet. Two pools. The rooms are very spacious, well renovated, cleaning every day. Towels are changed every day, bed linen is changed 2 times in 12 days of stay. A big plus is the presence of a Russian-speaking translator from Russia at the hotel (Tamara), who helps tourists in everything. There were no Indians in the hotel. The Chinese stayed, but they were taken away early in the morning for excursions, brought back late in the evening, so we practically did not encounter them, they do not use the hotel territory during the day. Check-in and checkout - no problem. The breakfasts are weak and monotonous, such as in all three-course meals. But no one was left hungry for sure. The hotel staff is very friendly. We stayed at the hotel for the second time during our 6th trip to Thailand. In general, I advise you!

You can't hear the street in the room, because the hotel is located from the first coast to the 2nd street (perpendicular to the sea), you can go ashore from the hotel towards Central Festival and Volkin Street, as well as onto the second street towards terminal 21, the Marina and Dolphins Center, between the hotel and the Dolphins is the Alcazar show You can visit on your own. Everything was arranged in the room, the only thing that is necessary is to take a toothpaste and a brush with you, because they are not provided in the room. There is also no safe in the room, only at the reception (free of charge). You will be allocated a cell with 2 different keys-one key for you, the other at the reception. You can use it from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.We didn't use it, we kept everything of value in a suitcase with a lock, no one touched or climbed anything. Linen was changed, sheets, pillowcase, towels every day. The duvet cover every other day, why I don't know, was fine with us, it was possible to change it less often, the linen and towels were snow-white. There are 2 brown beach towels in the room for the pool and the sea, they were changed every day in the room along with the rest. I liked the cleaning, not only did the Thai sweep, but also washed the floors, including on the balcony. Honestly, I was surprised, because as long as I travel, I have never seen dusting in the room and mirrors. There is one Russian channel, plasma TV, a large balcony with 2 chairs and a table, large panoramic windows in the room. In the morning, the birds chirped like in a fairy tale. The staff was quite adequate and friendly, all issues were resolved quickly, most importantly, with a smile. There is a Russian girl at the reception, Tamara, who also helped with everything and suggested what was needed. Like it. You run around the city, jump on excursions, return to the hotel and find yourself in an oasis of peace, cleanliness and silence, complete relaxation. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one large on the side of the 2nd and 3rd floor buildings with balconies, the second on the side of the 2nd floor buildings. there are no balconies and it is smaller. The food was fine. There was meat, soups and pastries, potatoes, rice, pasta both in our manner and in Thai-Chinese. Juices, milk, tea, coffee (excellent), salads, fruits watermelon, melon, pineapple, bacon, 2 types of delicious sausages, eggs in different variations, nuts and something else that you didn't have time to try. By the end of the holiday, the Chinese were brought by buses, they all went out to the pool at once, took pictures and disappeared. We went to breakfast either early (it works from 6:00 to 10:00), or later, so as not to encounter the Chinese, there was always food, we replenished constantly while there were visitors. After breakfast, they were taken away on buses and we did not see them. To sum up: the location of the hotel is excellent in the center of Pattaya, within walking distance of all cafes, restaurants,shopping centers, markets and bazaars, tuk tuks, etc., the sea is across the street, and at the same time the hotel is quiet, calm and everything is green with singing birds and a clean pool. I really liked it, I would be happy to recommend it to visit. If I go to Pattaya again, I will definitely choose Tropicana.

For some reason, many people go to other places to go to the beach, we swam great at the hotel, we didn't get poisoned, there was practically no garbage, we noticed it a couple of times and that's it. We went to the island one day, and the rest of the days we stayed at home. We had a room with a balcony. You can take beach towels at the reception and leave them in the basket there. The breakfasts are good, there is no such filth as there was in the hotel in China, everything is clean. The territory is not very large, but it is very pleasant, green and well maintained.
