You should immediately understand that almost all hotels in Hainan are primarily aimed at the Chinese. Good hotels, which include Howard Johnson's, are also oriented towards foreigners (all inscriptions, including the pool, dining room in the restaurant and lobby, are duplicated in English). But it's difficult to speak Russian at the hotel. Apart from a separate guide, no one speaks Russian. The room is large enough, there is everything you need in the room. A refrigerator, a TV (one Russian-language channel), a sofa, a kettle and a tea set, there is even a dishwasher (it is unclear why!!!).. The furniture is a little tired, but monumental and without defects. There was a full set of gels, shampoo, toothpaste, and even washing powder in the shower. Everything was changed/added every day. Cleaning every day with a change of towels. Wi-Fi is good, the router is right in the room. Be sure to install a VPN, nothing works without it. I had HitVpn installed, everything worked fine for me. My wife had another vpn and had problems. The hotel operates on a breakfast-only system. Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The room in the restaurant is huge. We usually went at 9:00, when the influx of Chinese people was greatest. There were a lot of people, BUT there was always an empty table. The breakfasts are varied and designed primarily for Chinese. Since we are from Sakhalin and are accustomed to Asian food, we liked everything. The choice of dishes is very large. There's a separate table with nuggets and French fries for the kids, but we haven't tried them. Cheese and various sausages were cut every day (the Chinese do not eat cheese at all, and this is primarily intended for foreigners). In general, no one will stay hungry. There is also a Korean restaurant on site, but the price tag is inadequate, although it is delicious. And there is a barbecue restaurant on the street, a buffet of 228 yuan per person. I do not recommend it, it is not tasty and the assortment is poor. The awesome outdoor pool is 50 meters, not deep, but there is a lot of free space since most Chinese are not "waterfowl". There is an indoor heated pool in the west wing. The beach is municipal, the passage to it is through an underground passage (the passage is open from 6-00 to 23-00). There are paddles and sun beds on the beach, paid/expensive. The sea is awesome, the approach is gentle, the water is warm. Only Russians and Kazakhs swim in the sea. The Chinese are not waterfowl and only take pictures on the shore. The location of the hotel is convenient. There is a bus stop across the street, and the fare to the center and Dadonghai is 5 yuan per person. Buses run back until 22:30. There are cafes, a supermarket, McDonald's and KFC in the vicinity of the hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel and the rest!!! I recommend it to everyone!!!
