that good hotel, i like personal and people

We have been to this hotel 3 times and only because of the wide paradise beach and ocean.
For the 1st time, the hotel was pleasantly pleased, as it was no different from other five-star hotels in which we had previously vacationed in Varadero, except for a small area.
The 2nd time was also not bad, the only drinks were in a limited selection, the staff showed indifference to vacationers.
3 times it became clear that it got even worse, there were cockroaches in the dining room, there was no lunch by the pool as before, even the cappuccino was running out. If the first two times we lived in a bungalow and we were quite satisfied with it, because it was very convenient to go to the beach and the country atmosphere was felt, then the last time we were settled in the main building, we were shocked by the room, the air conditioner was raining, as a result we moved into a bungalow for an additional fee.
Pros: a paradise beach, a free catamaran, we left a mask on the pool and the next day we found it, a delicious cutlet in bread on the grill by the pool.
Cons: cockroaches in the dining room, a pool with mold, drinks are running out, drinking water is like from a tap, a favorite earring left in bed is gone, but then the room was cleaned smartly, there was no lunch by the pool, the room in the main building is terrible.

We rested in July 2024 in the main building on the 3rd floor. The room needs a redecoration of the bathroom. The furniture is more or less fresh, a large balcony. We had a rest at the end of February 2024, lived in the main building on the 2nd floor. Everything was in order, clean, double rooms were booked, one was a double with a shared bed, the other with three separate beds. The room had a refrigerator, detergents, a toilet.paper, iron. The wifi worked well. The audibility between the rooms is tolerable, no one interfered with us. Vacationers 80% of pensioners are Canadians, 15% are Russians, 5% are the rest. Cleaning was carried out every day, towels were changed. Drinking water was added to bottles in the room. The territory of the hotel is very clean, beautiful, there is a place to walk. On the beach, the sun beds were always free, it is better to change beach towels from 12 to 14, up to 12 are often not available. We did not notice a big difference in the rooms in the bungalow with the main building. It was more convenient to live in the main building. The nicest bar in the main building, coffee was made in the coffee machine in the morning, the best cocktails are made by male bartenders in the afternoon in the lobby bar. The cocktails were all mojitos, pina colada and daiquiri, pure rum is poured only the cheapest, the rest is usually not available, but there is champagne, beer, gin always in large quantities at will. The quality of the cocktails is average. The pool bar is always empty, usually only beer is available. The amount of tips does not particularly affect the service and quality of cocktails.
There is everything you need for food, quite diverse, grilled meat and fish daily, delicious ice cream, vegetables - eggplant, peppers, cabbage, hamburgers with cutlets tasty, but without sauce, sauce was taken from home., a variety of pizza. The staff at the cafe is trying their best. Everyone is friendly. Tips flow like a river, but we did not notice the difference in service with and without tips. Chocolate, Alyonka, instead of tips, they take it with pleasure, they even asked us when they had already distributed everything))).
There is animation, concerts every day, a show program and if there are people who want to dance. But the animation is monotonous.

A gorgeous beach covers almost everything, but it is impossible to ignore the numerous nuances. Briefly about the disadvantages: tired rooms, poor room cleaning, insects in the room (ignoring requests for processing by hotel staff), eternal demagnetization of cards, lack of air conditioning in the lobby, weak air conditioning in the restaurant, lack of bottled water (gas/gasless), lack of dry cleaning, dilapidated bed linen in the rooms, inconvenient schedule gym and tennis court work (no scales). Briefly about the advantages: a stunningly beautiful beach with good infrastructure (catamarans, activities, etc., etc., a good selection of food in the restaurant, especially fruits, friendly staff, green area, the fact that there is a good massage therapist at the hotel. The disadvantages, unfortunately, overlap, but, as those who are not the first time in Cuba say, other hotels are much worse. We will not choose this hotel next time. The price / quality does not correspond absolutely.

I liked the food very much, there was a lot of it. There were a lot of vegetables, fruits, meat, sweets. There are 4 (maybe more) bars on site where you can get a cocktail. The staff is friendly and courteous. The beach is clean, there were enough sun loungers, the beach workers help to drag them where they need to be. The animation was at a high level: there was constant music, dancing on the beach, by the pool, near the restaurant, even a rock band once performed. You can relax with children.

The hotel is in the middle of the peninsula. I don't know which rooms are in the main building. The rooms in the bungalows are very spacious. The air conditioner worked perfectly. Of course, the plumbing is experienced. But nothing flowed. There was no smell of sewage. Huge balcony. We had a coffee maker in our room. Take filters just in case you want to make yourself a coffee before breakfast in the morning. But it's not in every room. The beach is great. No bags, bottles and plastic cups in the sea. Umbrellas are large. Towels are given out. The sea is just a fairy tale. Kitchen... You won't starve to death for sure. Fish. Pork. Chicken. Always. We had cucumber and avocado season. There is little greenery. Breakfast is normal. Rum by the river. Beer too. The coffee is brewed in bars is good. If you like strong, you should say 2 espressos in one glass. The staff is friendly. And yes. There were no mosquitoes in our hotel. Isolated cases in the evening on the beach, if there is no wind. It is important.

It's a terrible hotel, you shouldn't come here under any pretext. We had a vacation with parents and children in October 2024. In Cuba for the third time, there is something to compare it with.
The main building is being renovated, it is very noisy. There are cockroaches running around in the dining room! There is very little food. There were no greens at all, there were days when there were no eggs for breakfast, a lot of pasta and rice. The dishes are dirty. Dissatisfied staff creates a type of activity, in fact, a piece of fried meat or fish can be waited for half an hour. The fruits are green and tasteless.
One day, I witnessed an outrageous case. The cook brought several pieces of cheese in his own hand and disdainfully threw them on the common dish. I was speechless when I saw this.
In the toilet in the lobby (the business card of the hotel!) the toilet flushing buttons are broken, there is no soap and toilet paper.
It is often said at the bar that some of the alcohol has run out.
There is a huge shortage of everything in the hotel, however, it has been repeatedly noticed how the hotel staff go home with huge bags.
The impressions of this hotel for a long time discouraged the desire to return to this country with the most beautiful ocean.

Отличный отель, очень зеленый! Были дважды за 2023 год. Ухоженная территория, хорошие номера в виллах. Чистый пляж. Персонал вежливый, стремятся угодить во всем. Еда обычная, как везде на Кубе, но достаточно разнообразная. Есть бар, там всегда вкусный кофе, летом Игристое, зимой белое вина. Есть аля кард рестораны - мясной и рыбный. В пятистах метрах от отеля есть замечательный ресторан на берегу, где за 25$ вам приготовит свежайшего лобстера или ред сниппера. А рядом в баре можно заказать фраппе!

We got into a cyclone. The first days were a bit cold.
In the evening, some even wore jackets. The water in the ocean is +24. We swam. We were fine, but the locals looked at us like fools)))) For them, it's icy.
We chose a hotel from several suggested options by a tour operator (according to the reviews of tourists vacationing there who bought a tour from them). We stopped there. We were warned right away: Everything is included in Cuba is not the same as in Turkey, but we were promised that we would not starve. We have never regretted our choice, although after buying the tour we read many contradictory reviews and there was a fear that the rest would be spoiled.
In vain! There is a lot of food, different, but for the unassuming public - everything is as simple as possible without frills, but the choice is huge - pork, chicken, like lamb, fish, eggs for breakfast in different variations, side dishes are different, pizza and burgers just cooked with you, pastries, delicious ice cream, yoghurts and juices (I don't like I liked it), there was a poor choice of vegetables and fruits, but there was something. Food is great if you are not a Michelin fan))))
Cocktails are a river, but they don't know how to make them from the word at all. The only tolerable one is sex on the beach. That's it! Even a tip didn't save the situation. And I know a lot about cocktails😎😅 But you can drink.
The room was on the 3rd floor. It requires repair, but nothing falls apart, does not fall off, does not leak.
The room has an iron, ironing board, hair dryer. There is always hot water, but the pressure is not very high.
A desk with a lamp, a TV (2 Russian channels), but we turned it on 1 time on the day of arrival. Then it was not up to him. A table with 2 chairs, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe. A large balcony with a table and a chair))
The water was replenished every morning.
Towels were changed.
Beach tickets were issued by token. They changed it without any problems. The main thing is that there are no power outages. Therefore, after the beach, it is better to immediately change to clean ones.
About the animation...For pensioners)))))
The staff speaks Russian piece by piece) Everyone is friendly, smiling.
There are 2 on-site restaurants that can be visited 1 time during your vacation. My opinion is that it's not worth it)))) Don't waste your time. Pathetic semblance of Japanese and local Cuban. And Cuban cuisine is a separate kind of art🤦♀️😅 In general, we went to the dining room to "catch up", because we practically did not eat there🙈
Overall, the hotel is very good. The territory is clean, well-groomed, and according to the hotel guide, it is the best on the coast in terms of the amount of greenery. He's really all green.
There were mosquitoes in the evening. When they forgot to splash, everyone went bitten.
The beach is clean and it is perfect. The water is the purest. The sand is snow-white. The picture is like from paradise😍
The animation sucks, really🤣
I would like the sounds of salsa, bachata, local Cuban dances...but the expectations did not match the reality.
On the beach there are catamarans, saps, canoes (or whatever they call these boats with oars). Volleyball.
It seems that even half an hour of free swimming is possible for vacationers at the hotel.
The store at the hotel is expensive. It is better to go to the center of Varadero.

I would like to thank the hotel for traveling with a young man and liked the attitude and attentiveness!! Of course , the bath could have been washed , but it did not spoil our rest . The ocean was clean , the sun was but the rain was collected and the fog was amazing !!! The crocodile tour is amazing!!!we even ate them!! It was very tasty and interesting!!! We held them and stroked them ☺️The photos are crazy 😇 it was the best vacation in a long time !! Thanks to the Tainos Hotel!!! A separate respect to the ocean!!!

Don't believe the photos from the site! Choose hotels in the middle of the island and pay special attention to the beach and the quality of the territory, it should be spacious and not swampy, otherwise you will feed mosquitoes)))!

Твердая 4. Проживание в бунгало, обслуживание на 3ку, нужно организовать персонал самостоятельно. Еда скудная, ассортимент не велик, НО голодом не оставлять. Персонал молодцы, чаявые рулят)). Пляж на 4ку, ОКЕАН всё прощает, ради этого нужно лететь 14 часов.
