Last weekend my husband and I visited this bar. On the one hand, the food was really delicious – we ordered tom yam, Chinese beef soup and mushroom salad. The portions turned out to be quite large, the prices for the dishes were quite reasonable and the dishes were cooked very well.
However, the service left an unpleasant aftertaste. When we first entered the bar, we didn't know that the staff spoke Russian. The husband approached the waiter and asked if he spoke English. At this, the waiter grinned and exchanged strange glances with the bartender, which looked disrespectful and awkward. Later, when we made an order, it turned out that the salad I wanted was not available. Then my husband asked the waiter to recommend other delicious salads, to which he replied: "Well, here is the page in front of you, choose for yourself." This was said again with a grin. Of course, it became unpleasant and even wanted to leave.
Nevertheless, since the food was delicious and the interior was stylish, the establishment as a whole left a good impression. Although the service overshadowed our visit, we may come back for the taste of the dishes again.

IDOL perfectly combines Chinese cuisine and signature cocktails. The pleasant interior, friendly staff and impeccable combination of tastes create the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the evening. A nice place with pleasant music, unforgettable decor and delicious food. Cocktails in unusual glasses are very tasty, especially the Dragon. The prices are as average in Belgrade, the portions are not huge. We had two dishes and two cocktails for 3300dinar.

The appetizer plate is not bad, especially the sauces. Chili popcorn is very spicy.
The waiter warned that alcohol was strongly felt in the Zombie cocktail. We have tried these cocktails in other places, there is something to compare them with. For my taste, alcohol is really strongly felt and interrupts everything else.
I didn't know that there were Russian staff here and turned to the waiter in English. The waiter said in Russian that I had misused the English word (explained how it should be) and escorted us to the table. It was a little awkward. It seems to me that this comment/advice could be omitted.

It's a very cool place. The food is incredibly delicious, the combinations of ingredients and sauces are absolutely based. We did not choose the cocktails very well for our taste, but Tom yam was the most delicious in my life, and it is served quickly!!!

A very strange combination of Chinese cuisine and a tiki bar. Maybe such cocktails are not mine in principle, but I didn't like it - there are a lot of drunks in them, but it's tasteless and whatever they drink later, they will have a headache in the morning, although we usually don't notice this. The food is probably delicious, there are not enough simple side dishes (such as rice, to compensate for the sharpness of the dishes, we had to order a "wok type", but in fact it turned out to be just spaghetti cooked in the Chinese manner). In general, I definitely won't go there again.
+ terrible lighting on the street and the tables are so close that it seems that everyone is at your table and telling you personally about their troubles and problems of living in Belgrade ... maybe there is not enough music, I don't know, but a cozy terrace is definitely not called.

The idol is cool! I've heard the opinion about overprice, but I think every dinar is worth the atmosphere and the pitch. I'm already silent about the cocktails themselves. Besides the way they are served, they are also insanely delicious and big. The average bill for three of us came out at 10 thousand, taking into account the fact that someone else ate. In general, I highly recommend it, this is an extremely cool place in the very center of Belgrade!
