A very ancient temple. It is currently under renovation, but it is open and there are no problems in visiting.

A must-visit place if you are in Kakheti. There's nothing to do there, nothing to look at. Just be glad that Georgian monks in the Middle Ages made and drank wine, probably grazed sheep and cows on the surrounding slopes. We ate shish kebab and suluguni or some other cheeses. Well, Shota Rustaveli studied poetry there. The view of the Alazani Valley is good. The Caucasus, if not hidden by clouds, is also impressive. If you are lucky and there will be no other tourists, you can comfortably think about the impermanence of all things. Buy at least a candle for the shop at the entrance, if you are baptized, at least a trinket as a keepsake. After all, admission is free.

A small monastery. It is being restored. There's not much to see. If you are passing by, you can stop by. And I wouldn't go on purpose.
