It's a very special place. There are several myrrh-streaming and one bleeding icon in one place. The temple is located a little far in Abkhazia beyond Sukhum, but it's worth it. Not all or many people do not know how to turn to the saints in prayer with a request or gratitude. So under each icon there is a prayer that you can say. They say there are many healings going on there, and on Fridays the priest treats the possessed. A rare occurrence today.

We were on vacation at a hotel in Ochamchira and decided to visit this place. We arrived early, the service hadn't started yet and there was almost no one there. It turned out that it was a parent's Saturday and the service was a memorial. The service was conducted by Father Sergius himself, an elderly man with sore legs. But what happened in the temple cannot be described in words and must be seen with your own eyes! It turned out that demons are exorcised in this temple on Fridays, or maybe it's called something else, only there were strange people in the temple who started howling, swearing, crawling on the floor when Father Sergius began to lead the service, and when he began to spray the parishioners with holy water, some just ran out screaming and started yell obscenities in the street. And in the temple itself there are several icons that are myrrh-streaming! And one is bleeding! Ancient frescoes are visible on the ceiling under a layer of soot. It turned out that this is the only temple where demons are exorcised and only Father Sergius is allowed by the church to do this. It was really creepy and calm in the temple, and something else was happening incomprehensibly, and for example, my arm ached very much from my fingers to my shoulder, and my wife's leg just went numb, and as soon as they left the temple at the end of the service, all the pain simply disappeared. They say that this is a very salty place, they come here to remove damage and expel something from all over the world. The temple is small, there is a well with holy water nearby, there is a monastery where apparently sick employees live in the temple, a lot of people with disabilities, and I personally saw a woman sitting against the wall with terrible eyes devouring everyone around with her gaze and when everyone crosses herself, she just silently looks around. They explained to me that most likely this is a person with bad intentions and is looking for a victim. That is, do not take anything out of anyone's hands there, even if they offer you, look out, do not step on any garbage, I also saw one gypsy kick aside the garbage that came from nowhere, do not allow anyone to stand behind you and do not keep your mouth open. And you can even put a mask on your face, as some do. Only on Fridays is the process of exile going on and only Father Sergius receives those who have received the sacrament. By the way, he is a very strict person and simply does not allow some to kiss the cross, but removes his hand with the cross, sprinkles holy water on some many times, and just passes by some, and smiles at some and gives parting words. The place is actually very strange and at the same time with a strong energy. And the most important thing is that I am a Tatar, not baptized, only my wife is baptized, I do not visit temples, I do not participate in services. I was once on parental Saturday and put a candle to the late father Dmitry, who once in 2020 prayed for me at a time when I was dying of Covid, and miraculously survived after 57 days in the hospital and 85% lung damage, and 10 days in intensive care. But Father Dmitry himself left at the age of 21 from the same Covid. (My wife's cousin was). I recommend this place to visit only with serious intentions. In proper clothes and only mentally prepared to face the inexplicable that is happening there.!!! Personally, we had very strong impressions after the first visit, and a few days later we arrived there again and again got to the festive service, and therefore several priests conducted the service on occasion, and there were a lot of people. And random tourists who came on a big bus for an excursion are very much in the way. They come in for 5 minutes, don't understand anything, just look around and go for a walk around the temple. Perhaps we wouldn't have seen anything unusual if we hadn't spent the entire service there early in the morning from the opening until lunch and were amazed. Before you go, study everything that is written about this place. And don't listen to those who were there for 3 minutes and didn't see or feel anything.

The temple is small and cozy, it is especially pleasant to be there in the evening for Saturday service, there are few people and somehow at home. They sing well with zeal and diligence. Father Sergius is a great zealot of Jesus Christ. Even in pronunciation, he says that it is necessary to correctly call Jesus, and not Jesus, as many people call him. At the age of sick legs, he conducts services standing up with great zeal and it seems that his heart rejoices when the parishioners sing. With his steadfast faith, he instills faith in others, thank him very much for this, God grant him health, I treat him with great respect! He is very strict, does not like when they smile, having arrived with a big problem, visionary helped many people, people go to Tula with gratitude and work as workers. There are many peaceful icons, a serious attitude towards communion, may ask at confession if a person was at the Sabbath service. In everything, a serious approach, if you did not observe a 3-day fast, you may not receive communion. Services are only on holidays, on Saturday and Sunday. Not all services are conducted by St. Sergius. The Church of St. George the Victorious will always remain in my heart!

The first time I came here was by accident. Tourists from Yakutia ordered an individual and I sat down. The first impression is negative. Most likely because of the granny who yelled at the woman because she was taking pictures. The minimum is not pleasant. The maximum is the overall impression of all the temples as a whole.
After that, I read a lot of things on the Internet. Including the funeral service for the possessed on Fridays...or whatever it's called correctly. There was an interest or something...
the second time passed quietly, as it should be in God's house. The myrrh-streaming icons gave even deeper impressions. On the third day, I met the priest Beslan near the temple. A very nice man. He gave me water, fed me, told me about the Old Believers...Before us, he had an Abkhazian family with a boy with cerebral palsy. For me, this is a man from God, since they go to him with such problems.
Many consider this paradise to be a place of power. People come here from different cities on purpose. And it's not just like that, I think.

We came to this church to see the myrrh-streaming icon. The church is located almost on the border with Georgia. On the day when we visited her, there were no parishioners at all, we were greeted unkindly at the entrance, lessons immediately began that the head was not covered with a headscarf, although there was a hood on the head, then we decided to go in from the other side and we definitely had to wear a skirt, it was insulting to enter the temple of God in trousers. To which my wife decided not to argue and left the place. At the same time, there is a stall in the warehouse itself for the sale of candles and other church utensils, which is unacceptable according to the canons of the church. The visit is also not encouraging, as the air conditioner is very noisy both inside and outside. The icons that we came to see also didn't seem particularly interesting to me, it feels like they're just filled with oil from the lamps. In general, it's enough for one time, we definitely won't go there a second time.

According to one legend, St. George spent the night in a tent at this place, after which this temple was built here. The bull was slaughtered, cooked, and distributed to the faithful.

We were at the church for Sunday service. The opening hours are written at the entrance from 09:00-18:00 daily. But the opening was slightly delayed, it was opened at 9:30, first everyone confessed, at 10:30 the service began, the communion lasted as in an ordinary church at 12:00. The service was conducted by Father Sergius and others, and he served slowly as best he could. We drove by car, having downloaded the online map in advance, everything worked, the route led us. There were a lot of people, from everywhere.
One more point, when crossing the border, time jumps an hour ahead, (do not pay attention), but in Abkhazia everyone lives according to Moscow time!!!
