We stayed at this hotel from 07/19/25 to 2.08.25. The hotel is well renovated, clean, the rooms are cleaned every day, linen is changed every 4 days. The staff is friendly. There is a buffet in the dining room, delicious, but the choice is small, they cook the same thing every day. There is a market within a ten-minute walk. There are a lot of different cafes, the prices are reasonable. It takes about 10 minutes to walk slowly to the sea, sun beds/umbrellas are provided. The pool is clean, there are plenty of sun beds, but there are no tables.

Great hotel. We had a rest in July 2024 and in July 2025...We don't usually rest in the same place, but the "Empire" has conquered us... We were with a child of 9 years. Everyone is thrilled. The staff is attentive and friendly, the rooms are clean and cozy, cleaning is done every day, and I would like to mention the pool is clean, with a shower and towels. Great family vacation at the Empire Hotel! We had a rest with the whole family and children and were absolutely delighted! The hotel has exceeded all our expectations. We lived on the 4th floor. There is an elevator. The rooms are clean and cozy, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was especially pleased with the availability of children's furniture and attentive approach to families with children. The food at the hotel is at the highest level – the breakfasts are varied and delicious, according to the buffet system, the children especially liked porridge, breakfast cereals and pancakes. Fruit.The canteen staff is always friendly and attentive. The territory of the hotel is well maintained, there is a beautiful heated swimming pool where children spent a lot of time. A place to relax, sun beds. The location is convenient – 7-10 minutes walk to the sea, which is quite comfortable for children. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach from the hotel. The service exceeded all expectations. The hotel staff is very polite, always ready to help and answer any questions. The rooms are cleaned daily, thanks a lot to Milan. She responded quickly to all requests.I would especially like to mention the work of the reception desk – the guys are real professionals! The nature and the views around are simply amazing. Gagra is a really beautiful place to relax, and the Empire Hotel has become an ideal vacation home for us. We definitely recommend this hotel for a family holiday! The hotel has an elevator, 6 floors , we had a room on the fourth floor with a view of the mountains . The room has everything you need . Room cleaning is daily, bed linen is changed every three days The hotel has a swimming pool with a relaxation area, a bar, a children's room and games (football, video game console). we had breakfast included (everyone seems to have it) a variety of food every day, lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts, a cheese plate, etc . in the dining room, breakfast was clean and tidy from 7:30 to 10:00 You can also have lunch and dinner here for an additional fee. if you want a view of the mountains from the room, then you should take from the fourth floor the other side overlooks the pool and the sea, but it is not very visible to go to the sea in a straight line about 10-15 at a regular pace . also, there is a huge market near the hotel, where there is absolutely everything , and a dolphinarium on the beach is a 15-minute walk from the hotel own sun beds and umbrellas, where you can be identified by your wristband It takes 20-30 minutes to walk to the embankment in Novaya Gagra. We really liked it, we recommend it is great for a family holiday , we have not encountered any rotovirus.

We stayed at this hotel with a family (2 adults and 2 children) from September 4 to September 10, 2024. To be honest, we are delighted with this hotel!!!!! The hotel is new, clean, shiny, not a single speck of dust. There is a private swimming pool nearby, 180 cm deep. We booked a large single family room for 4 people. The room is beautiful, about 20 sq.m. for adults, a large bed of 2 by 2 meters, for children, a large folding sofa – 2 children aged 9 and 12 years old could fit freely. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, mini fridge. Room cleaning from the 2nd day, our girls cleaned every day, although we did not ask so often, we lived on the 2nd floor, it is very convenient not to wait for the elevator. The hotel has 2 large modern elevators. Meals were chosen according to the breakfast + dinner system. The cuisine is excellent, I will not say that it is the ruins of the Turkish buffet. But there is an excellent choice of dishes, there is always meat – chicken, pork, shish kebab, several types of cereals, fruits, dried fruits, breakfast cereals and vegetables. Delicious salmon steaks were cooked for dinner (very tasty). A great buffet, no one will go hungry, that's for sure. It is forbidden to take food with you from the dining room. Tip – be sure to take a fumigator with you - at night if you lie down with the balcony door open, mosquitoes will devour everything. The reception has excellent staff who will always help you solve any issue. Dinara – thank you for your smile))). There is a 24–hour bar in the hotel itself - there is something to try and drink, lemonade and ice cream for children. Card payment - no problem!!! In general, book safely, you will never miss it. You can book on the hotel's website, or make a call and the details will be sent to you, it turns out much cheaper than through a tour operator.

The room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the pool, as well as a little view of the sea. We cleaned daily, and on the 4th day there was a bed change. Not far from the hotel is a 10-minute walk to the sea, the hotel has its own beach, sun beds are free. There are large pebbles along the entire length of the beach where we walked, walking barefoot is not very pleasant. We were with a stroller, since the child is 1 year old, the taxi drivers we contacted do not have child seats. There are not enough roads for strollers everywhere. There is also a place to eat near the hotel, food prices depend on the place, for example Khachapur from 350 to 600, a boat as well. Cherry trees on the street range from 650 to 700. We went to the Ritsa with a taxi driver for 6t.p. a family of 4 people in a minivan. They paid again with transfers from the SBP. Some stores accept card payments. There is a shop next to the hotel that is open until 22:00, and there is a small selection of products.

The best and our favorite hotel!!! ♥️ This is the 3rd time we have come to this hotel with children! I like the cleanliness in the hotel and in the rooms, a good and varied cuisine, both morning and evening, a pool with clean warm water and a high-quality cleaning system (my husband found out). The room is on the 5th floor (we wrote to the hotel in advance, asking for a higher floor). It is spacious, with a balcony, and by the way there is a rope and clothespins on the balcony for drying wet bathing accessories. White bathrobe, slippers, nice towels. There is also a basic shower kit. A hair dryer is available. New air conditioner, works great. There is a kettle, tea bags and sugar. An ironing board and an iron are provided at the reception on each floor. The room has a safe, an ashtray. And even a fumigator . There is no water, but you can buy it in the shop to the right of the hotel entrance. And right behind it is a cafe where they make a good grill. The price includes breakfast, very homemade, the cook cooks delicious, there is a choice - eggs, pancakes, vegetables, porridge, cheesecakes, cheese/ sausage, in general, clearly more than we cook ourselves at home)) For money you can have lunch and dinner at the hotel, I did not go. I liked the pool about the hotel, very clean. There are tables and armchairs. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, the girls at the reception tell you exactly how. It's hard to get lost - straight all the time. I liked the Uzbek cuisine cafe on the beach, they are the third in a row if you go to the right (located opposite the pedicure in aquariums). Delicious soups, pilaf and pastries. Take towels from home, the hotel only provides towels for the pool. Wi-Fi is very stable for Abkhazia! It falls off at times (in the room), but that's okay. The hotel has the opportunity to put things in the laundry. I would also like to thank Natalia, the hotel manager, for her professionalism and customer orientation. It is rare to meet a manager who keeps her finger on the pulse and helps guests in solving any issues personally. They are engaged in the hotel, it is obvious. Room cleaning is on schedule, all services are great. I will be happy to come back again!

Good delicious food, for every taste, in Turkish hotels there is a similar menu. The first day we decided to look for another dining room for lunch and dinner, BUT!!!! After trying the food in 3 other canteens, we decided not to experiment anymore!!!! It's CLEAN!!! Everything is new!!! Prices are the same as everywhere else (not cheap) but it's delicious and clean! The location is certainly for an amateur, 10-15 minutes to the sea-it's like walking, not far and not stressful! There is a private beach, which is of course a plus: sun beds and umbrellas are your own!BUT this part of the embankment is not gentrified, and there is nowhere to walk in the evening, far from the center, there is not even a toilet nearby!!! And there are a lot of people on the shore. In general, I had to go to the stunning Mojito beach in Old Gagra, where the embankment is gentrified and there are no people at all! THE HOTEL is super, the location is controversial.....A huge plus is a swimming pool and a children's room! Thanks to the animator, the child was settled in the morning. There is one drawback, but I will not remove the star for it, I hope the administration will read the review and come up with something: The deck chairs on the beach are cleaned very early, at 6-7 pm the employee starts to drive everyone away to make noise with these deck chairs. It's not pleasant, we came to rest, after lunch on the boat, and then they're already driving.You can extend it at least until 19:30....Before sunset:)

We contacted the reception for any questions and always received help. Only breakfast (buffet) is included, there is always a choice, we have never been hungry. The hotel is clean, the staff tries their best, but ideally we could say hello and smile, at least sometimes🤷♀️We arrived at 4 a.m. and were immediately checked in at no extra charge. A big plus of the hotel is a pool with warm water. According to nutrition: we only took breakfast and there was always a choice (pancakes, cheesecakes, porridges, eggs, omelet, vegetables, fruits, pastries, dry breakfast...). Near the hotel there is a very tasty Turkish cafe "Chegem Oro" - I highly recommend it. One of the disadvantages: the road to the sea is a continuous construction site and a lot of garbage. The hotel is full of mosquitoes, it is difficult to sleep at night, they fly in flocks and fumigators do not work on them.

The canteen staff are courteous, they will always tell you everything and prompt you. They try to ensure that all the dishes are in abundance. A big question for the owner of this hotel: why do they turn off the water at night? You come from the sea or from the pool, but there is no water in the room, neither cold nor hot. This is the biggest horror I've experienced. This is a huge discomfort for the guest of this hotel. I would like to eliminate this shortcoming. As it is, everything is fine! If you don't really care about the availability of water in the faucet, then I can recommend this hotel. I liked everything else. The sea is a 10-minute walk away. The dolphinarium is also nearby. And finally, we sat at the train station for four hours. Yes, I also forgot, I need to take a strong sunscreen with me for the first few days, otherwise I got burned on the first day, then spent two days in the room, had a headache, fever and nausea.

But unfortunately, there are indirect disadvantages. - The staff is pleasant and helpful. polite, but optional. Upon check-in, the safe was locked, it could not be opened, the maid promised to send a master, but no one came. The next day, the receptionist reminded me about the safe, they promised to send the master again, again no one came. I also had to catch the maid a couple of times and ask for shampoo and shower gel, because they forgot to replenish them when cleaning the room. Minus half a point. - The staff does not always provide accurate information. Upon check-in, they asked about the laundry service - the reception said that the cost is 150 rubles per kilogram, things will be washed, ironed and brought to the room. Later it turned out that one thing costs 150 rubles, and without ironing, a package with washed crumpled clothes was given to the reception. This service is so-so and if it had been known about it in advance, it would not have been used. It was written in the guest card, but we didn't have a guest card in our room. At the check-out, they asked the reception to call a taxi to the station at 21:20. The order was placed when I asked about the payment and the cost, they said that the taxi driver would have to pay, he would tell the cost himself, but it would definitely be less than 500 rubles, most likely about 400 rubles. However, upon arrival, the taxi driver named the cost of 600 rubles and said that it was this cost that the dispatcher informed him. It was kind of unexpected, because a taxi from the train station to the hotel cost 300 rubles. We took the risk to take it with dinner, because everything was beautiful in the Instagram videos - and in vain. There are no comments on the breakfasts, the range of dishes is sufficient, everything is quite edible. For lunch, one or two dishes are added, what is not eaten at lunch becomes dinner. As a result, adults may be able to find suitable dishes for themselves, but in the case of a family holiday, children then have to look for food elsewhere. So they refused to have dinners, had lunch and dined elsewhere (Dining Room No. 1, I recommend it). In general, the food is not bad, but the level of nutrition is significantly inferior to the level of the hotel itself. Minus half a point.

The hotel is very cool, it was our first time, this is our first trip to Abkhazia. We arrived early at 10.00 and were checked in without any problems, we were complimented by the hotel. The staff is all pleasant, everyone is smiling, friendly. The rooms are bright, spacious, and everything is available for living. Kettle, mugs, bathrobes, slippers, personal hygiene products, etc. We lived on the 5th floor, the balcony overlooked the mountains, the view was beautiful. They also used the elevator. The breakfasts were delicious, buffet style. I usually ate something dietary, an omelet, vegetables, fruits. But there were also buns, pancakes, villages, cottage cheese, sour cream and much more. The only thing my husband had a few complaints about food, they told the administration they immediately brought us a compliment in the form of a cake. It was very pleasant. We went on an excursion from the hotel to Lake Ritsa. In general, we are happy with everything, we recommend the hotel.

Good evening! We rested with my husband in this hotel from 05.07 to 13.07. I would like to mention the administrator Ksenia, a very literate employee, explained everything well, helped with some requests. A postcard and wine were presented for the wedding anniversary. The dining room is excellent, tasty and not expensive. Our room was on the 6th floor, the view was of the mountains, gorgeous. A clothesline was broken on the balcony in the room. They said so and brought a new one. About cleaning hotels 50-50%. The woman is nice, pleasant, but we looked under the bed and there was a lot of dust. My husband used gel and shampoo from the room and these empty bags (from gel and shampoo) lay in the shower for the whole vacation. There was a moment when we were sitting in the room and someone came to clean up. About the pool: it is gorgeous, treated, towels were given and there are sun loungers. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, the beach is great, we've only been on it all our vacation. The disadvantage on the beach is that we had to install umbrellas ourselves and none of the employees helped us. The hotel offers guided tours, which is very good. The food is not exquisite, but delicious (I would just like it to be more diverse). There is a 24-hour bar. Alcohol is not expensive (beer 100, sparkling 350) The pool is clean, but deep (children cannot swim alone), there are sun beds and droplets. Pool towels are provided separately. There are tables and armchairs next to the pool, a playground (a house, slides, a swing - children will be fascinated). There is also an air hockey and table football. There is also a computer with games for gamers) The hotel has a children's room from 10 to 19 (with an animator, a lot of toys and games !!!) All the staff are very kind, welcoming, responsive♥️ The only disadvantage (for us) is that it takes about 15 minutes to get to the sea with a stroller. Without a stroller - 7. About a kilometer. There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The sea is clean, the pebble beach. - The hotel is located in a residential area. - 10-15 minutes away (on foot) is the Gagra market, shopping malls, canteens/cafes. - About 25-30 minutes (on foot) there is a gorgeous promenade with attractions for children, lots of cafes and restaurants. Ferris wheel, mini colonnade😀 - 10-15 minutes (by taxi, 500₽) to staraya Gagra. Excursions can be purchased near the hotel. We ordered a transfer to the hotel right away - very expensive (6tr). It was not without rotovirus, but this is not the fault of the hotel, but of the location as a whole! Bottom line: Empire is a chic hotel, convenient for holidays with children, but far from the sea (I repeat - for us!!!!) to some, this km will seem fast)

For the price, I think the hotel listens to 5 out of 5. We have been vacationing here since 08/23/2024. We got 216 rooms on the second floor with a view of the courtyard. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy, with modern design, air conditioning and TV. There is everything you need: a refrigerator, a kettle, a hairdryer, ironing boards on each floor. Linen and towels are snow-white, comfortable beds. There is a clean and warm swimming pool on site. The breakfasts are delicious, hearty (buffet, not like in Turkey, of course, but also not bad for its price), delicious cheesecakes and pancakes. Pleasant and courteous staff will help you solve any issue. In general, the hotel left a pleasant impression, I would like to return again. Thank you to the staff for their attention and patience. I didn't like that there are a lot of smokers near the pool (for smokers, it's probably a plus that you can smoke wherever you want), both women and men, but there are rather complaints about vacationers. It was cleaned very clean. This is the first time I've seen rooms cleaned so cleanly. Although we tried to keep order ourselves, but with three children it sometimes turned out badly. There is a games room, a swimming pool, a small playground, and a bar on site. To the sea, 10 minutes, maybe less. The road is straight. We always took a stroller. But you couldn't get on the beach with her, you had to drag her to your place and back. I've seen some people leave strollers in front of the beach. We didn't do that. There were enough rods and umbrellas on the sea. One thing was found for our family. I don't know if this can be called a minus or my omission. The train was sooo late on the last day. The room must be vacated at 12. And as soon as we arrived, of course, we went to ask for a late check-out. And, alas, we were refused. We just went a lot of places, quite often planes and trains were in the afternoon and we were never refused in hotels, boarding houses, apartments, so I didn't think it would be a problem. But then it happened like this. Of course, we tried to find a room for a local clock (we would have to pay for a day, of course), everything was refused, it was unprofitable. To change the linen, etc. Although we only had to put the children to bed for a quiet hour and rest a little ourselves (we would have stayed there for 4-5 hours). BASICALLY, a little bit about the trip. We rode on a yacht, on a banana (they ride right on the beach), went to the Ferris wheel park, to the dolphinarium, took an excursion to the island of Ritsa. Yacht and banana class. The dolphinarium is very beautiful, but expensive, the Ritz is also very beautiful, but everything is running. There were 40 mines in total on the lake itself. There was no time for catamarans there. If finances allow you, it is more convenient to take a taxi and go yourself. Slowly. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the wheel. We didn't go to the water park, I read reviews that after one they come out with rotovirus. In general, the area is not empty, there are shops, canteens, we took a barbecue and fish at a stall on the way to the beach. Delicious. Before the trip, some friends said that the people there were not very decent. I can't say that about any local with whom we talked. Unlike tourists, who were rude to us a couple of times from scratch. But that's another story. Conclusion. The rest was a success. The hotel is wonderful. We recommend it. We would have come back here again.

I'll start in order: we ordered a transfer from the hotel (cost 3500), we were met from Adler railway station and taken to the very doors of the hotel (we passed through the border quickly, as the driver went through customs with our luggage, and we walked through passport control). Check-in from 14:00, we arrived earlier, we were allowed to change clothes and leave our luggage in the storage room, we were checked in a little earlier - at 13:00. We took breakfast and dinner from the hotel (since it was the first time in Abkhazia and we didn't know if we could feed a child of 3.4 years). Breakfast and dinner were served according to the buffet system. There was plenty of food, there was always a choice from porridge to desserts. For dinner, too, 3 or 4 types of side dishes and 3 types of meat, there was fish, all kinds of salads, etc., in general, we did not starve. There are also many home canteens around the hotel and there are many restaurants with European cuisine on the central embankment. We took a view room on the 6th floor (the balcony overlooked the mountains) wonderful view, not noisy in the evening! The hotel has a children's room with a babysitter, which is not a little important. In the mornings, there was a charge for the kids around the pool, the children's room was not big, but there was enough space for all the kids, a lot of toys for any age, next to the baby there is a hall where you can sit and there is a bar (where you can drink a delicious cocktail). The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, we swam even in the evening, always clean and there is a small playground (slide and swing) nearby . And it is very important for families with children, the hotel provides strollers, if you need to take a walk in the Lobby, take a stroller, take a walk and put it in place, very convenient! It takes 6 minutes to walk from the hotel to the sea, there is a private beach with sun beds and umbrellas on the beach, they are monitored by a special person from the hotel and there is always a place for everyone. We liked everything very much, convenient, comfortable, we will definitely come back!
