Интересный отель, старинный в колониальном стиле не только архитектура, но и внутренние убранства. Персонал сервисный, лояльный. Завтраки по меркам страны хорошие. Играет пианист! В номере чисто, хотя как и все на Кубе слегка уставшее.
Неприятно то, что сдачу с долларов всегда дают в песо, но никогда песо не принимают в оплату. Видимо, это порядки государства, а не места. Легко эту сдачу утилизировать в качестве чаевых персоналу. Особая тема ресторан на крыше! Поесть там не чего, но вино и шикарные виды центра Гаваны найти легко)

Havana is beautiful! The hotel is located in the very center, next to the Capitol, within walking distance of the old town. The exterior of the hotel is 5 stars, the interior is 5 stars, but not everything is so good with the rooms, you may get a room without windows, more precisely, the windows will go out into the technical area and the grilles on them will not let daylight through (when booking, it is worth considering more expensive rooms with a balcony). There is a relaxation area on the roof with a magnificent view of the central square and old Havana.

The hotel where Anna Pavlova lived. Pretty tired. There is a roof terrace with a beautiful view, anyone can get there. Payment only by card, which is inconvenient for us Russians. The location is great, I didn't like the food

For a tourist who was not prepared for the reality of Cuba, the gap between expectations and reality can be huge, especially when there is hope that everything will be better at the hotel.
Room: there were periodic problems with water, and the rooms had terrible humidity and constant noise from an industrial air conditioner under the window - this is if you got a room without a balcony overlooking the courtyard, if you got a room with a balcony, then be prepared for constant noise in the evening - music from the restaurant downstairs and on the roof).
The rooms are not cleaned very well.
Restaurant downstairs of the hotel: we had breakfast included, but very little looks edible. We ate raw pancakes with butter and jam all week. There were fruits, but they were not ripe. The finale was sour milk in coffee and a cockroach in bread.
In addition to these problems, it is worth noting that the quality of Wi-Fi left much to be desired: the network was constantly disconnected, which created inconvenience for those who needed constant Internet access.
It is important to note that the hotel accepts payments on most cards, including Mir cards, with the exception of American cards. In addition, the hotel offers a profitable currency exchange at a favorable rate, which can be convenient for tourists.
It is also worth mentioning that the hotel has a shop where you can buy rum, cigars and coffee, but the prices here are higher than in shops on the street or in Duty-Free.

Великолепное расположение и холл, но все очень обшарпанно. В ресторане грязные чашки. В постели песок. Номер выше чем шире. В ванной нет ванны и вообще вентиляции. Очень шумно от конденсаторных блоков за стеной. Пахнет краской и кошками. И все это за 300 евро за ночь. Завтрак с пианистом в красивом ресторане. Неплохое качество блюд. Колониальная атмосфера присутствует.

Самый интересный и, может быть, самый старый отель в центре старой Гаваны. Из плюсов: вид на парк, до всех достопримечательностей пеший доступ, туристические улицы напротив, через парк.
Из минусов: толпы попрошаек по вечерам, шведский стол разнообразный, но на вкус так себе. И очень-очень медленный лифт )))
Персонал не против вас кинуть на пару куков.

Хорошая гостиница в колонизаторском стиле. Большой шведский стол на завтрак (в отличии от соседней Telegraph). Однако номера небольшие по размеру, вдвоём и с багажом умещаешься впритык
