Nice hotel! The room stock is tired, and major repairs are needed. The area is nice, all green, which is a big plus compared to other hotels in the region. The food is great, the noodles for breakfast are great. The pool is clean, but shallow, and heated.

We had a family vacation from June 2 to June 9, 2025. We booked two rooms on the ground floor with a garden and a terrace. The rooms are excellent, the hotel grounds are large. I really enjoyed the breakfasts. They give free ice cream for breakfast, and after breakfast they sell the same ice cream by the pool for 58 yuan per ball. There are two pools - a children's pool and a communal pool. The kindergarten is open until 18.00 and is located in the shade of palm trees. I really liked it. The communal pool is open until 21.00. There are many activities for children every day, registration for them takes place in the kids' club. If you have a breakfast-only tour, I recommend going to dinner at least once. 258 yuan for adults, 138 for children. There is a great variety for every taste. Alcohol includes wine and beer.

The hotel is very nice! Located in a closed bay. There are several Restaurants and bars on site. They cook very tasty, but in my opinion quite expensive. The breakfast is very good, there is a very large selection of dishes and drinks, there is also enough space for all visitors. A nice large pool, though a little shallow, depth of 1.2 m, but for children that's what you need. The SPA was built with all the money :) but the level of masters compared to Thai or Vietnamese masters is weak. Great gym. Everything you need is there, in excellent condition. Water, towels, changing rooms with showers are right there, no need to run to the room. Room cleaning is a separate story! Very high quality. Change of linen every two days, towels and bathrobes every day. Of the minuses Alcohol prices discourage the desire to live :) 95% of the staff do not speak English at all :) We learn Chinese!)

I want to start with the fact that the hotel is unrealistically old, starting from the reception and ending with the territory. The whole area is very old, shabby, tiles wobble everywhere when you walk, umbrellas, deck chairs, the very structure of the hotel – everything is very old and worn out. Well, now the most important thing is the terrible old numbers, it's just terrible (see the photo). We were offered two rooms, and it's the same everywhere: the smell of dampness and mustiness, everything is dirty everywhere, the walls are dirty, the plaster is falling off, the room itself is old, the curtains are dirty, torn, and the doormat is mildewed. Anyway, when I saw all this, I asked myself once again: did I even come to the international 5* or the 3* old dead hotel? There are boors working at the reception who don't know English at all. Why are you guys in such a high-level hotel and don't know English, basic phrases? I explain through a translator to the young man who registered me that stop being rude and rude to me, but it was no use: his face is angry, dissatisfied and completely ignoring my requests. The air conditioner does not work normally in the rooms at all, even if it is set to the lowest, there is no cooling. All the pools are dirty, you can see in the photo, some kind of incomprehensible lime floats on the tiles below, in some even the tile itself is coming off. The Internet in the hotel is terrible, consider that there is no Internet at all. And another joke: all BYREDO cosmetics that are in the rooms – shower gel, shampoo for hair, soap – are all fake. I've been using this brand for many years, and it has a completely different fragrance, color, and consistency. As for the sea, this is the worst entrance to the sea in Dadonghai Bay, and taking this hotel for the sake of the sea is a very big mistake. I'll tell you about the club accommodation option: you shouldn't pay such a hefty surcharge for lunch and dinner, because the lunches are generally empty, there's nothing to take, and I don't say anything about dinners. The breakfasts that everyone praises so much, I'll tell you this, if you like spicy and salty, then you'll like it, but if not, then you really have nothing to do at such a breakfast. And a restaurant where breakfast is held is one word restaurant, yes, in the 90s it could be called a restaurant, but in 2025 it's just a DINING ROOM. And this is an International 5* hotel???? No, I would say it's a disgrace to the International IHG GROUP hotel chain. Moreover, I want to note that your Intercontinental sanya resort hotel is very expensive, and travel packages to your hotel are also very expensive, and people pay such money to endure all this horror!?Shame on you International sanya resort. Guys, if you value your money, and most importantly, your nerves, don't book this hotel and look at my photos, and you'll immediately understand what I'm writing about, and whether it's worth choosing this hotel at all.
