I really liked the place, the closed bay, the beach without people. There is a cave. You can dive, picturesque bottom. There are paths to climb up to the fortress. There are many such towns along this road, which are more than 2000 years old.

The ruins of the ancient city are preserved to this day and have a beautiful view of the sea. The car can be parked by the road, and there is also a trash can. The descent is not difficult. If you're traveling all day, it's better to take an umbrella and something to sit on. I have a question for people : what is the difficulty of taking the garbage with you , seeds , crusts , napkins and other small things that spoil all the pleasure of your stay ?

It's a very beautiful place The ancient city of Iotape, located in the area of Alanya, Antalya province, is also popularly called the ancient city of Aitap. The city got its name from Iotapa, the wife of the 4th Antiochus, king of Commagene. There are many different historical ruins within the boundaries of the ancient city. Most of these remains date back to the Roman and Byzantine periods. The acropolis of the city is located on a high promontory extending towards the sea. Since the cape on which the acropolis is located is surrounded by walls, this site has the appearance of an acropolis. There is a small port street in the part of the acropolis that faces the land. Most of this street is not visible, as it is located under the highway passing through the area. There is a bay to the east of the acropolis. There is a small church with one nave in this bay. The church was built in honor of St. George Stratelates. This information is achieved through an inscribed fresco in the interior of the basilica with a rectangular plan. In addition to the church, there are also remnants of a bathhouse in the area. The historical ruins on the north side of the modern road mainly consist of cemeteries, houses and walls in the Necropolis area.

On the old road from Mahmutlar to Gazipasa, the views are amazing, there are no people, you can go down to the bay to a small beach where there are practically no waves, I recommend it! 🩵

I recommend it to anyone who likes to visit the ancient ruins in a beautiful place. Once there was an elite village here. A small picturesque bay with clear water. Locals love to visit this place. They litter a lot. We were even a little upset. But soon the workers arrived in a truck and collected everything in a couple of hours.

The ruins are located near Kargicak district, Alanya. The road is steep and there is parking. Then up the stairs. Everything is surrounded by pine trees, incredible smell and sea views. Everything is ruined, of course, but it's amazing to come here for the panoramic view! We usually have a picnic, sit and enjoy the view!

And lotape Antik Harabeleri. The ancient city of Iotape was named after Iotape, the beloved wife of King Antiochus IV of Commagene (38-72 AD). From the time of Roman Emperor Trajan, who ruled from 98 to 117, to Valerian in 253, this city minted coins with his name, in other words, power! There are ruins of the Roman and Byzantine periods. On the ancient streets, there is a crepida (platform) with three steps on each side, between which statues once stood. The inscriptions on the pedestals of the statues told about the successful and generous inhabitants of the city. The ruins of the bathhouse and city buildings have been preserved to this day. Among the ruins, on the sea side, there is a temple dedicated to Trajan, as evidenced by an inscription on a nearby slab. Alas, only the stylobate remains of the temple. To the north of the modern road along which we arrived, we can see the tombs of the necropolis, houses and partially preserved city and fortress walls. With pleasure, we literally took a mysterious archaeological tour today, not forgetting to swim in the azure bay with the ruins of an ancient harbor, sailing over ancient columns flooded by the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. We put on the wrong shoes, we couldn't climb higher, but we wanted to, we'll definitely fix our mistake next time!

The ancient ruins of Aitab. Picturesque, amazing, unusual. The main thing is not to leave garbage, this is a call to local residents. Architecture makes the imagination run wild.

It's a beautiful and interesting place, but unfortunately, the ubiquitous garbage in the water and on land spoils the whole impression.

The view is cool, but it's worth getting up early in the morning or in the evening (so it's not hot) While climbing the stairs, I almost died, in the evening the light on the stairs is turned on too late. If you plan to meet the sunset, it is worth considering.

I recommend everyone to visit one of the grandiose monuments of bygone eras. Turks traditionally don't give a damn - mountains of garbage, the bottom of the bay in beer cans, which spoils the feeling.

It's beautiful, but very dirty. Garbage, waste products and a bonus- the remains of an animal exuding a stench.

It's a beautiful place. As soon as we arrived here, a dog immediately ran up to us and accompanied us on our entire self-guided tour. She always wanted to tell us something, but we didn't understand anything because we don't know Turkish!

We were there. Beautiful bay with ancient runes. The Turks need to dig there. I'm sure they'll find something interesting.

We looked at them from above, because it is not clear how to get down to these ruins. We found a path a little bit, went down, and didn't dare go any further. With children, the task is completely impossible. And there's not much to see there. It's better to go to Siedra. I do not recommend any other way.

Anyone who has not been here, I advise you to visit. It will really be necessary to rent a car in Alanya, but it's worth it in my opinion.
