Good afternoon! In 2024, we decided to choose a school to teach a child web design. After exploring different options, we settled on the IT Academy. Before recording, we attended an open lesson: we liked everything very much, the information was presented clearly and to the point. However, in practice, everything turned out to be a little different. First of all, I think that homework must be done, and in order for children to be interested in doing homework, they need to be involved in the process. Job protection is often formal — many students use templates offered by the school itself. I recommend that the management pay more attention to the content of the program and the process of its implementation in order to see exactly how the training is structured. During the open lesson, it was also mentioned that during the holidays, children will be given excursions to IT companies and during the year they will be able to try themselves in different directions. Unfortunately, none of this has been implemented over the past year. In general, the school is good, but I would like to see more practice, individual approach and fulfillment of the promises made at the introductory meetings.

Cons - did not meet expectations, does not match what was stated. Now for more details: - we interviewed for the course, but in the end we took everyone who wanted to, with 0 months and 7 years of experience, from other areas with zero competencies in .net. - I did not receive in-depth knowledge, detailed questions revealed the teacher's lack of such in many technologies, often instead of a clear answer he tried to look for answers with us - communication, there was almost no communication, you had to specifically ask to turn on the microphone or type very quickly - the teacher did not prepare for classes, he often tried for about an hour to make the basic things in the project work, the presentation of knowledge was fragmentary and very selective, you would not need it with comments - comments and help on emerging problems or not it was provided, or I myself managed to fix everything faster on my own. As a result, the study and the teacher left indelible impressions: the teacher's catchphrase is "I don't understand why this doesn't work"; I expected to see a master who can show a master class, in fact we almost had to finish teaching him himself, we watched him Google and copy the code from the Internet. I made my comments and suggestions at the very beginning and left feedback, but it didn't change the situation dramatically. In general, he proved himself to be a quick-witted and competent specialist, but my personal opinion is that you either need to teach topics that you are well versed in, or not to teach. I would not recommend such studies for such money. With such training, the IT academy should guarantee employment with decent pay.

I took a course in Python web development at the IT Academy (11/16/2022 - 02/15/2023) and was not satisfied. Of the advantages: A modern and comfortable office, a pleasant atmosphere for classes. But the disadvantages outweigh: Problems with the equipment – the equipment periodically hung up, which disrupted the learning process. The materials are only on the basics of Python, but they didn't give anything on web development - everything is from the words of the teacher. There was no employment, although it was promised. Not a single interview. I had to write the letter of recommendation myself. Conclusion: money is wasted. It is better to look for other courses. I don't recommend it.
