Good afternoon! In 2024, we decided to choose a school to teach a child web design. After exploring different options, we settled on the IT Academy. Before recording, we attended an open lesson: we liked everything very much, the information was presented clearly and to the point. However, in practice, everything turned out to be a little different. First of all, I think that homework must be done, and in order for children to be interested in doing homework, they need to be involved in the process. Job protection is often formal — many students use templates offered by the school itself. I recommend that the management pay more attention to the content of the program and the process of its implementation in order to see exactly how the training is structured. During the open lesson, it was also mentioned that during the holidays, children will be given excursions to IT companies and during the year they will be able to try themselves in different directions. Unfortunately, none of this has been implemented over the past year. In general, the school is good, but I would like to see more practice, individual approach and fulfillment of the promises made at the introductory meetings.

Cons - did not meet expectations, does not match what was stated. Now for more details: - we interviewed for the course, but in the end we took everyone who wanted to, with 0 months and 7 years of experience, from other areas with zero competencies in .net. - I did not receive in-depth knowledge, detailed questions revealed the teacher's lack of such in many technologies, often instead of a clear answer he tried to look for answers with us - communication, there was almost no communication, you had to specifically ask to turn on the microphone or type very quickly - the teacher did not prepare for classes, he often tried for about an hour to make the basic things in the project work, the presentation of knowledge was fragmentary and very selective, you would not need it with comments - comments and help on emerging problems or not it was provided, or I myself managed to fix everything faster on my own. As a result, the study and the teacher left indelible impressions: the teacher's catchphrase is "I don't understand why this doesn't work"; I expected to see a master who can show a master class, in fact we almost had to finish teaching him himself, we watched him Google and copy the code from the Internet. I made my comments and suggestions at the very beginning and left feedback, but it didn't change the situation dramatically. In general, he proved himself to be a quick-witted and competent specialist, but my personal opinion is that you either need to teach topics that you are well versed in, or not to teach. I would not recommend such studies for such money. With such training, the IT academy should guarantee employment with decent pay.

I took a course in Python web development at the IT Academy (11/16/2022 - 02/15/2023) and was not satisfied. Of the advantages: A modern and comfortable office, a pleasant atmosphere for classes. But the disadvantages outweigh: Problems with the equipment – the equipment periodically hung up, which disrupted the learning process. The materials are only on the basics of Python, but they didn't give anything on web development - everything is from the words of the teacher. There was no employment, although it was promised. Not a single interview. I had to write the letter of recommendation myself. Conclusion: money is wasted. It is better to look for other courses. I don't recommend it.

I graduated from the Java Prof. course, I graduated in August. Lured by bootcamp (practice), after training. We rescheduled classes, for this reason we did not have time for the bootcamp. After that, they asked me to wait for my group's work to start a new bootcamp. As a result, they make this bootcamp paid. Thank you. A terrible company that changes conditions, essentially deceiving customers. There is no difference in the level of students at the exit. You all get the same diplomas. A diploma without an assessment and even incompetents will be certified as a result. If you don't pass and don't finish your studies, you still have to try. Anyone who wants to, of course, will receive knowledge. The certificate of this company is essentially worthless. The person took the course and copied from 15 percent of those who tried. I am among those who have tried, but for this you need to quit your job, and study yourself along the way for 8 hours. If you don't have that kind of time, then you'll come out with an empty head. I attended the basic course "Project Management in software development" under the guidance of Alena Volchek. At the very beginning it was a little difficult and unusual (a lot of new information fell down at once!), but I got involved very quickly - thanks to Alyona :) A person really likes everything that she does and talks about: she explains VERY clearly, with a bunch of examples from her own experience, not boring and with humor - and in general, it seems to me that absolutely everyone in the group received a lot of positive emotions and positivity from classes :) Now it's not so scary to hear all sorts of scary words like SCRUM and Kanban, you already know what is ISR and decomposition - especially since you could always ask or clarify something that seems incomprehensible. The course is quite concise, a lot of information was given, there was no time to relax, and therefore, in some 40 academic hours, I more or less managed to join a completely new (for me) field of knowledge. In short, I'm happy as an elephant :), now I'm looking forward to starting classes on the same course, but at a professional level - and, by the way, almost our entire group decided to continue their studies :) Oh, and they also have cookies!)))

JavaScript) in principle, there are no questions, the teacher loves his job, it is clear that he tries, stays after class to explain incomprehensible points or help with the project, in general, 6 months have not passed in vain. teacher Denis Zinchenko - I recommend it. But the third course (React, TypeScript and Angular) disappointed me completely, although it would seem that the guru Alexey Loktev himself led them. The course is remote, they send once a week a two-hour video from three years ago of disgusting quality (the code can only be disassembled on a large monitor). The code is not written as you get acquainted with the topic, but the teacher shows his blanks, in which little is clear to a beginner. The strange language of the teacher also baffled me and then I had to unlearn, for example, code -'code', mode - 'fashion', and false - generally 'false'. We studied the whole history of the reaction, but what is really needed for work was passed in passing or not at all, for example, all the components we had were class, although programmers switched to functional ones many centuries ago. In general, I dropped out of the third year in the middle and switched to self-study, which I do not regret at all now in practice
