In February 2025, we stayed at the Iyara Hotel in Koh Chang as part of a yoga tour. By the beginning of the season, the hotel was renovated, everything is working properly, there are no household problems. Cozy double bungalows, inside there is a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, refrigerator, comfortable beds and mattresses. Quality sleep is provided, only the roosters, which announce the beginning of the day from about 4:30 in the morning, interfere. But roosters and hens with chicks are beautiful, so gradually they are somehow forgiven. You may need a fumigator, it is better to bring it with you. There is a massage parlor 5 meters away, literally at the exit of the hotel. After 100 meters, shopping pavilions, a 7/11 chain store, pharmacies begin, and across the street there is a Buddhist temple and a bank. The sea is 10-15 minutes away, you can walk through the temple grounds.

We had a rest in December 2024. The bungalows are very nice, the territory is beautiful, there are many shops nearby, and it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea. There are many massage parlors.

It is very easy to find on the navigator and according to the following signs: directly opposite is a large temple, above the turn into the courtyard there is a rather noticeable sign "Iyara" (in fact, "7 Rooms" is part of this hotel on the territory, they have a common reception and its guests are even allowed to use their pool, but the rooms are not cleaned daily). The territory is small, but it is present. There are no problems with parking. There is a shared kitchen under a canopy with all necessary equipment. A separate star is for solid wood furniture. It's a long way to the beach (walk 10-15 minutes slowly) and the beach itself is a little dirty. So it's better to take a vacation to more southern or northern ones. There are a lot of cafes, counters with food, fruits, exchangers, minimarkets nearby. Not far from the largest waterfall of the island and walking on the salons. Everything is within walking distance except large supermarkets. For a budget holiday, this is a very good option.
