We stayed at the Zhaysan Guest House as part of a multi-tour of Kyrgyzstan for 6 days. I didn't like the guest house. - dirty rooms, bugs everywhere (mostly spiders and ladybugs, but everywhere! On the walls, on the ceiling, on the bed, in your suitcases and even in your pants pockets) - the rooms are never cleaned (they say cleaning on request, but we have never been cleaned on request) - unsanitary conditions in the kitchen - a mouse was seen in one of the rooms - old plumbing (the shower was leaking, never fixed) - poor wi-fi - it almost doesn't catch on the 3rd floor - very steep staircase (spiral) - And the main problem is the constant problems with the water - the water was turned on only in the evening of the second day of our stay there (we still had to wait for the water to heat up, because we were not told in advance about the water heaters, which it turned out had to be turned on) and announced that they would turn off the water from midnight to 6 a.m. (in fact, they turned it off an hour earlier and turned on an hour later than promised) Of the advantages + scenic views around + buffet breakfast (although I feel less hungry after what I saw in the kitchen) + the opportunity to wash things (you need to take things in the morning, everything is washed in a big pile, then hang it on the balcony yourself, the service is paid, as reported at the end)
