November 22, 2024
Today, on November 22, 2024, we visited the city of Ferghana. We decided to go to one of the beautiful mosques, we came on purpose. I was with my mom. It was Friday, there was prayer in the afternoon, and we came in the evening to see the mosque without disturbing anyone. We were told to come back after 2 o'clock. As a result, either an employee or an outsider asked us why we came, and we need to ask permission. People enter any mosque or temple in the world without asking permission. As a result, we were lectured that we could be extremists and plant something for them. By the way, by that time we had already visited Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Kokand, Rishtan, Margilan and everywhere we were allowed into mosques and no one called us extremists. But apparently, cavemen live in Ferghana in general, who do not know what respect for the guests of the city is. Advice for tourists: do not visit Fergana. By the way, we were wearing headscarves and no shoes.
