The 123-meter-wide Jami Mosque (1883-90), the largest in the Ferghana Valley, has now turned into two open buildings - there was a dormitory in the building connecting them during the evacuation (that is, during the war), which was then replaced by a textile factory, and during independence, a shopping center, through which until recently people mostly entered the mosque. In all these metamorphoses, there is little left of the original building, and shortly before my trip, the authorities decided to simply demolish it, so in fact there are now two separate monuments here - the Jami Madrasah on the right and the Namazgoh mosque on the left. Domes of the Jami Madrasah in the characteristic ornate and colorful style of Ferghana I would say that the entire Jami complex is just a concentrate of the Ferghana architectural tradition, inspired more by Kashgar than Bukhara. The Namazgoh Mosque has already been restored, and impresses, as is most often the case in Central Asian architecture, with its ceiling paintings.

The mosque used to be a madrasa, now a museum, and there is a large square nearby. It will be interesting for tourists.
