Jijil Tavern in Yerevan, Armenia, is by far the worst eatery in a city full of great restaurants. Even though a friend had gotten food poisoning from eating there before, we decided to give it another chance. Only the service is as terrible as the food. The place caters to questionable people, so the staff act like thugs. Even though it’s illegal to smoke in restaurant patios, they allow people to smoke like chimneys. Expect to have the waiter get pretty much everything wrong about your order. If you order more than one thing, each will come about twenty-five minutes apart, so you won’t be able to eat properly. Don’t bother speaking with management; they are rude and have no concept of customer service. If there were a zero option for starts, they would get zero.

Jijil Restaurant is a real discovery! A cozy atmosphere, harmonious decoration and delicious dishes that pleasantly surprise from the first to the last bite. Everything is in its place here: attentive staff, high-quality service and the feeling that you are visiting friends. We will definitely come back again to try even more from their original menu!

Delicious food, a very extensive menu, I tried exclusively Caucasian dishes.
Recommended by the waiter, everything is sooooo delicious .
But there was a moment that made me sad .
I had dinner alone , Friday evening , the girl at the reception was not particularly friendly and sat in the far corner 🙄
But again, the waiter helped and corrected the situation, offered a cozy place on the sofa, for which I thank you very much .
I really liked the kitchen.

A wonderful place, one of the best in Yerevan. The prices are great. Very tasty national cuisine. We took three dishes for the three of us and ate our fill, paying 15 thousand, they also complimented us in the form of a national dish and told us which places to visit in Armenia. Wonderful staff who will find an approach to everyone!

This is the first restaurant we visited in Yerevan. I liked everything-the service is super! The staff is friendly, the portions are large, the food is very tasty! I really liked the dessert - ice cream with halva , as well as everything else. No complaints, well done👍👍👍

It's a great place, the staff is wonderful, it's always delicious. We came daily for breakfast and dinner, we liked everything, it was very tasty. The prices are pleasant, it can even be noted that they are cheap, a lot of people are always sitting there. The portions are large. The waiters are attentive, the change is brought immediately.

It's beautiful, delicious, and crowded. "Fog" is sprayed around the perimeter of the establishment on the street to cool it. There are tables for large companies, there are small round tables. The food is delicious, and so are the drinks. The waiters are nimble.

During the week of our stay in Yerevan, we came here three times! Fast service and good food (although the fish was pumped up on the last day, it was dry, but this did not spoil the overall impression). In the tabula here, I just fell in love. The wine was also of good quality served in glasses. The hodgepodge is beyond praise. Thanks!

The place is very beautiful, the food is delicious, but unfortunately they brought me raw food on the grill, the staff tried to convince me that it was not raw, but even in the photo you can see that it was raw, but they didn't care, they left this dish for me to eat, naturally they counted it. Teach your staff how to work properly and communicate with guests.

Everything is very tasty. The bread is incredibly delicious. In general, it is impossible to give up bread in Yerevan. In many places, they bake it themselves, but here it is especially delicious, like everything else.

It's a pity, there were extremely positive impressions from visiting the institution, but I was terribly poisoned and two days of vacation were ruined. I ordered a glass of Napoleon, coffee and pomegranate wine in the evening. I hadn't eaten in the morning or afternoon before. Napoleon looked "cherished," but it seemed to me.

The food doesn't even look good, but the service is disgusting. It's like the staff got out of prison, they're rude. Besides, the place is beautiful, but it's very noisy and uncomfortable.

A very nice and cozy place with an adequate price-quality ratio. Be sure to come for breakfast and try the salmon and egg sandwich benedict, it's a bomb. I'm shooting a star for the staff. From my experience: one time they forgot to serve the dish, the other time the sauce for the meat, ordered separately, was carried for so long that the meat was already eaten and so, and the sauce eventually brought a BBQ, although we asked for a kebab..
In general, the impression of the restaurant is positive and we went here many times, but the staff needs to work out their mistakes!

A place in the center of the city, a nice veranda.
Very tasty dishes- excellent cuisine.
But.. something needs to be solved with the waiters.
They asked me to recommend a quiet dry wine. It was clear from the waiter's face that he did not know what he was talking about. Then we decided not to be smart)) and they explained on their fingers, but they repeated 3 times that it was dry. The result: semi-dry 1 glass and 2nd- semi-sweet ...
There are no complaints about the location and kitchen!

An ambiguous assessment, I can't recommend visiting, personally I had slightly higher expectations from food. As if the dishes are too simple, I would work on both the taste and the serving.
On the other hand, it is the best service in general from all the places where we have been in Yerevan.

We went to the place closest to the rented apartment to have dinner at random and pulled out the main prize. Unrealistically tasty, huge portions, for the first time unknowingly took a salad for each, and so on, tired of eating. Then we were smarter, we took 1 salad for two. The prices also pleased me. I highly recommend it.

I was in Yerevan for the first time last November and had my first dinner in this place. Did you have dinner with wine, soups (spicy) and wonderful tortillas??? I forgot what they're called.

I rarely give reviews, but I can't keep my irritation down. A CATASTROPHIC problem with the staff. During the whole time that I was sitting, not a single empty dish that I had collected on my table was removed. To call the waiter, you need to look out and call them. To ask for a menu, to ask for an order to be accepted, then a bill, to ask for change, you have to prowl the waiters, who seem to be many, but they don't seem to be looking in your direction on purpose. All by force, as if I should say "thank you" for sheltering me in this place. There are no questions about the kitchen and bar. One star for the service, I apologize to the cook. It was delicious. But the service negated the whole impression.
