We stayed at Delta JBR for a week and literally *settled* at Jones the Grocer – we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here every day! Overall, my impressions are very good. ** What you liked:** * **The quality is excellent:** The food was almost always excellent. Everything is fresh, deliciously cooked, beautifully served. * **Convenience and atmosphere:** Very convenient location right in the hotel. The cafe has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere – suitable for both business conversation and family. * **Selection of dishes:** The menu is varied, everyone will find something to their liking (breakfasts, salads, pasta, burgers, hot dishes, desserts). Breakfast and coffee are especially good. * **Maintenance:** The staff is attentive and friendly, we were well served all days. * **Prices (mostly):** Considering the level of the establishment and the location, the average bill ** is about 750 dirhams for four people ** – the price is quite adequate for the quality of food and service that we received in most cases. ** What marred the impression:** * **The unpredictability of the kitchen:** Unfortunately, we were let down a couple of times during a week of heavy visits. Dishes that we already knew and loved were suddenly cooked in a completely tasteless way (or even spoiled?). So much so that I had to leave them on the plate. It's a pity, especially considering the other successful visits. **The result:** Jones the Grocer at Delta JBR is our main find on The Walk. We would come here again and again because of the convenience, the atmosphere and, mostly, the excellent food. We recommend it! We will definitely come back on our next visit. ** But we wish the kitchen more stability.** Even if familiar dishes always turn out equally well. Hopefully, those two cases were just unfortunate exceptions. Overall – **solid 4 stars!** 👍
