The best restaurant in the old town in my opinion. The most gorgeous interior and atmosphere. Live music. Very tasty food, a wide menu. Separately, it is worth noting the service, the cost for which I do not immediately include in the default invoice as in others. Therefore, you are happy to leave tips, because the guys really work for 5+. The only downside is that it is difficult to get in without booking a table in advance: without reservation either between lunch and dinner or after 21-30. There is also a waiting list that you can use by signing up and walking along the streets. The prices are above average, but it's worth it!

I really liked the restaurant! Beautiful interior, comfort and the flavor of the East. Perfect cleanliness. The music is selected exclusively. The menu is very diverse. Excellent selection of local dishes. Long serving and cooking. The waiter Nazar is the standard of oriental hospitality, attentive, elegant and unobtrusive. Thank you very much, a great impression of Bukhara and its hospitality. It's a pity to break up. Uzbekistan is my love!!!

Excellent restaurant with national cuisine!
We ate manti, shish kebab, a bunch of salads, samsa, and drank wine. I liked everything - the chefs are great!
I was especially impressed with the work and attitude of the staff - the guys work for the guests and for the guests, it is felt. An example for many premium restaurants in Tashkent. Bunyod served us. There was also a wonderful waitress, unfortunately I don't know her name - she was attentive to both us and our children, although our table was not her responsibility. Timur, the manager, comes up to everyone and asks if everything is okay.
I can safely recommend the Joy restaurant for guests of Bukhara. I'm sure we'll be back)

It's January 2025, and we're in Bukhara for the New Year's weekend. This is the fourth time in Bukhara in the last 2 years, and this is the fourth time we have visited Joy. The music, the atmosphere, the color of the place, the authenticity inside the restaurant, the polite and fast service beckon. But unfortunately, the food, especially the national cuisine, is on the top three. Kaish is poured with beans from a jar in tomato sauce, and not cooked according to the correct recipe (everything should be stewed, fried - meat and vegetables); manti and khanum fillings are not bad, but the dough is overcooked, very thin, already served with holes; tried with different fillings bichak - very small, half-empty in the filling, sauces to everything is tasteless and banal to them and to the dishes; fried dumplings are very small, about the size of a fingernail, inside there is not minced meat, but overcooked fat. Okroshka: one time it was served rich, thick with boiled tongue, another time it was served with tasteless cucumber soup. The musicians are great, but sometimes the music is so loud that you can't hear the other person at the table. There is a polite staff at the entrance, escorted to the table. After each visit, there is an ambiguous impression, the atmosphere is yes, the cuisine is no.

This place was recommended to me by the locals as the best restaurant in the city. I totally agree, I have not seen such a service even in restaurants in Europe! The very friendly, sincere and friendly waiter with perfect English charmed Sherali! I wish him great success! There are many national dishes on the menu, I saw some of them for the first time, although I have already been to many restaurants in Uzbekistan. I was surprised that coffee is 3 times cheaper than in restaurants in Khiva, where I came from. They also include 10-20% in the service bill, here 0%! Delicious baklava, very rich, it was always a little dry in other restaurants. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful live music is playing! I definitely recommend it!

It's just a masterpiece place!
First of all, the building is a former real loaf shed! The walls remember and breathe history!
Secondly, the kitchen is just a masterpiece! Everything is very tasty and beautifully served.
Thirdly, special thanks to our waiter Firuz, a man with a smile and a positive attitude made our evening even more interesting.
Fourth, these are incredible live cover versions. Such pleasant and painfully familiar melodies! I didn't want to leave!
I recommend sitting on a cot and enjoying a hookah at the end of the evening.

I was surprised to read about the "inaccessibility" and "splendor" of this restaurant. We just came in from the street, having no idea about the popularity of the place.
Yes, there is a pleasant atmosphere and courteous service. But waiting for the dish for 30 minutes instead of the promised 7-15 minutes somehow spoiled the impression, and the dishes were not brought to everyone at the table at the same time, someone had already eaten everything, and someone was sitting hungry. Many dishes were not on the menu-they ran out. I had to choose from what I have.
The food itself is delicious, the portions are small, the prices are above average.

A great colorful restaurant in Bukhara. All dishes of the national cuisine are present.
When we were there, there weren't many people (it was about 11 a.m.) so the waiter who served us couldn't handle it and we waited sooooo long for the dish. One even had to be cancelled. But the waiter himself made up for this problem with a personal compliment from him in the form of baklava)))
That's why I'm betting exactly 5.

The best teahouse in Bukhara! Visited in early December 2024. Delicious, fast, authentic interior, beautiful lighting in the evenings, and a beautiful Christmas tree was decorated on the ground floor on December 1. Cards are accepted for payment. Very tasty meat and pastries are prepared, a tea set with a selection of unusual jams.

I can say that this is one of the best places that we visited during our entire trip to Uzbekistan. First of all, the service is excellent, the soul rejoices: everything is tactful, friendly and without unnecessary familiarity.
Secondly, the interior: attention to detail, table setting, the distance between the tables creates additional comfort)
Third, and most importantly: food! We tried lamb shish kebab - perfect meat and roasting, samsa with pumpkin - super, salads - super, and for dessert baklava, which surprised: with meringue and raisins! That's really the highlight of the place)
Bonus: the service is not included in the bill, but the service was such that it was easy to tip!

A great place, very tasty food and service with local cuisine. For the first time, I can't single out any dish, everything we ordered was perfect and very tasty. We took a lamb kebab-the softest meat, delicious marinade, served with grilled vegetables and tomato sauce. The waiter advised us to try some of the snacks - chakka, which was also a very pleasant discovery for us in the world of new flavors, thick Ayran, like cottage cheese, only more airy and sour. Excellent dolma, khanum, very tasty meat and a variety of flavors. We also tried the local baklava, a lot of nuts, in my opinion, a lot of raisins and an air impregnation of some kind of white cream, a good combination, we have never tried this anywhere.

A super restaurant in a historic 19th century building, a large menu with national cuisine. Professional and friendly staff, especially the waiter Jasur. There is a hookah, black burn and masthave from tobacco, which is very good for Bukhara. In most other establishments, you will be offered only adalja or sherbet with a light fortress. I advise you to book a place in advance!

Like all other center seats / a bunch of people are always all occupied, there are no seats and full boarding.
Therefore, we book exactly one day in advance. There are 3 floors, as I understand it, but since our cold time (10/15/24) we were on the third in a booth. There are a lot of waiters and therefore everything was brought quite quickly, it was a pity it was cold and there was no opportunity to enjoy the views and examine everything in detail. I would probably come back again.
The food is like everywhere else - delicious food, something is better than in other places, something is worse. Now, after 3 weeks, the little things are already forgotten.

We got here by accident, just went to the nearest restaurant to eat. But they were delighted with everything - from the hostesses, from the waiters and from the kitchen. Everything from the menu is available, the prices are slightly above average (but the service is included in the price), but with such a service, I would say that they are very fair. The visit to the JOY restaurant was just great. Super customer-oriented. The receptionist girl booked us a table at a convenient time. The dishes were very tasty, the service was fast, the prices were wonderful. We were asked to take a picture of us from above, and the request was fulfilled with pleasure, so we got great photos and videos. At the end, the manager complimented us with a plate of fruit. In general, we had a great evening. I highly recommend this place. If we ever visit Bukhara again, we will definitely come back here 👍

We got in on Monday evening and by a lucky chance we got into this institution, as if we felt that we would like it there. I was pleased that there are a lot of national dishes on the menu, we ordered pilaf (oshi Sofi in Bukhara) and manti with pumpkin — we were gastronomically delighted. The best restaurant in the historical center of Bukhara! Places need to be booked 1-2 days in advance. We came for luck without a reservation and we were lucky - the guests did not come by reservation. While waiting for the table, the hostess girls treated us to delicious tea with kozinaks. It was very sweet!
The food is very tasty, the serving is beautiful, the serving is fast, the service is impeccable.
Live music is playing - a very atmospheric place. We had a nice evening. I recommend you to visit!

I think this is the best restaurant in Bukhara. Very atmospheric and friendly. The waiters do not leave the tables, they keep order on the tables, the service is reasonable in time. We found this place by chance when we were walking around old Bukhara. There were no seats, but we were told that seats should be available after 9 p.m., we left our phone number. We got a call, as promised. In the kitchen, everything is very tasty! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious! Live music is great! The waiter is attentive. The orders were being prepared so quickly. The place is gorgeous! We highly recommend you to visit!!!
