The Tavern cafe was visited for the first time in the summer as part of an organized tourist tour to Pinsk. We had lunch on a very cozy outdoor veranda with wooden tables and benches. A set lunch was served promptly at the appointed time. The food and drinks were delicious. It was especially useful to have a very tasty cooler, it was more than +30 °C outside. The cafe's courtyard is decorated with a stunning creative recreation area with swings, benches, a stove and other art objects, very beautiful landscaped flower beds and other plants. The second time the Tavern cafe was visited in winter as part of an independent tour to Pinsk. We had dinner in a modern room with a very cozy design. The food and drinks were delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. The cafe's very convenient location in the historical center of Pinsk makes it popular and in demand among Pinsk residents and guests.

We ordered Draniki, but they are about nothing, there are only two types of draft beer, and the institution positions itself as a pub..a pot of beef is also so-so: for that kind of money, eating potatoes with onions is so-so fun. We took Caesar with chicken - to say that the dried smoked chicken fillet in the salad surprised me in a minimal amount. A portion of salad, as if it had been stolen. The impressions are mixed from this institution, there is a slight note of disappointment that the choice fell on him on our evening.

I can't share the previous negative reviews: we had lunch at this place with the whole family. The lamb borscht is awesome, and the caesar salad is delicious. Draniki went to everyone too. The feed is fast. The waiter is a polite and attentive young man. And the bill came out very democratic. I recommend this place! We visited this institution yesterday, on the last day of July. The draniki are not bad, they took 3 types. Pepperoni pizza is such a thing. The cafe is for those who are not in a hurry. Everything is slow enough. We waited 10 minutes for the menu to be brought out, and another 10 minutes until he came up again and asked what we were going to order. This is despite the fact that only 2 tables were occupied. There was no work organization, only a waiter, an administrator who didn't say hello when they came in, and there was a cook in the kitchen. Walking around the city, we stopped to have lunch.Barbecue is by appointment only and only from a kilogram. My husband and I ordered chops with salad, and the child also wanted to try borscht. Since a portion of borscht is 400 grams, and that's a lot for a child, they asked to make it for 2 plates, and they categorically refused, but said they could give 2 spoons!)))))))) By the quality of the chop, I can say that it looked like yesterday's warmed-up lunch. Well, a cabbage salad in the middle of summer is also something!!! In the end, I can say that the owner needs to do a good job on the kitchen and the staff!!! Well, I advise the guests of the city not to be carried away by a pleasant interior, but to read the reviews in advance and choose another place to relax, so as not to spoil the impression of the city!

I don't think it's right to evaluate the cuisine of an institution based on one visit, but I don't think there will be a radical difference here. The selection on the menu is not particularly large, but for a small town it is normal. We ordered draniki with sausages. They differ in price from just plain pancakes by ~ 2 rubles, but they bring sausage stumps for a few kopecks. The draniki themselves consist more of vegetable oil than of potatoes, they do not hold their shape, and they fall apart at the slightest pressure with a fork. We rate sausage pancakes specifically with two stars, but I don't want to give the institution a second chance, in general.

Slicing is a separate art form, which is cut with a Soviet-era table knife [there are metal ones with a nail file]. The service is not forgettable straight. They regularly ask if we are satisfied with the service, but...... There are no napkins and we need to contact the waiter separately to bring it, at a time when the price tags are very high in relation to other establishments. We were on Sunday and the music was good only on TV .... Dancing to plasma = having a happy time on your favorite day off . Yes, the room is comfortable, the summer terrace also creates a pleasant atmosphere in the summer, but.... In order to sit at a table and pay Moscow prices for food in Pinsk.... In my understanding, this is the limit of cretinism. I want to spend time with my soul, of course, but... There are many other more atmospheric establishments around. Although, to each his own.

It is clear that the owners treated the interiors of their establishment with love .at first glance, a cozy atmosphere , an interesting courtyard , but something needs to be done with the staff , the waiters carry the dishes through the stump of the deck , they forget about bread at all, the portions are small, the salad was stolen in the summer , the food is not tasty. I don 't like to be rude , but if I knew , I would have visited another institution despite the fact that there are a lot of them nearby . Good advice to the owners, work with the staff, teach basic things (the guys are not to blame, they are simply not trained), but with the kitchen it is probably necessary either to train chefs or change them altogether, you can't cook like that! I'll come back in a year and check it out. We decided to celebrate the anniversary in this restaurant. There was a full menu on pre-order. Cold salads of the Greek type were immediately covered. Like - because it didn't sound like a Greek word at all. A plate with sliced cheese was either frozen, or some kind of the cheapest - without taste and structure. The hot stuff was waited for about half an hour - and then only after repeated reminders. The pots were delicious. In general, there are a lot of questions about both some dishes and the service.
