My husband's birthday was celebrated there. I really liked the kitchen. Especially the salad with crispy eggplant, and the liqueurs are generally beyond praise. We rested from 12.09.24 to 21.09.24. Every day we went here for lunch and dinner. Many thanks to Viktor Pchelkin, who served us all the days. They cook very tasty, as far as my husband is fastidious in food, he said solid 5. Eggplant rolls and beetroot salad are excellent. The most tasteless cuisine for 3 days of rest in Abkhazia! We ordered caesar with chicken, salad with crispy eggplant, a frying pan with meat and vegetables and carbonara. Let's start with the fact that hot dishes were brought first, not salads and only one dish per person- Carbonara, if that's what you can call ordinary noodles with butter and carbonate. Then, 10 minutes later, the second hot dish was brought- a frying pan with meat and vegetables-burnt eggplants, 2 pieces of meat and vegetables (I attach a photo). The dish was refused. Then they brought caesar- Peking cabbage in mayonnaise with garlic and a salad with "crispy" eggplants, the bulk of tomatoes, several small pieces of eggplant were thrown on top, the salad without dressing and absolutely bland. In general, we are shocked! We have never seen such cuisine in restaurants on the coast. We give two stars only for the service, thanks to the waiter Egor, very attentive and courteous.

We were in a cafe in October 2021. It's called Del Mar (signboard). We ordered a Khachatur boat here, it was one of the most delicious boats that I ate in Abkhazia. I really don't know who writes that it's delicious . . . it's impossible to eat this stuff in a cafe ... they ordered a 500r frying pan and brought it - boiled potatoes were thrown into the pan, boiled chicken breast, poured sour cream and decorated with pepper on top .... Crispy eggplant salad.... They threw eggplant cleanly into the fryer, it was cooked there + tomato , bitter and cheap cheese and balsamic vinegar.... All the dishes were just boiled (((( We are resting in this hotel, we will definitely not eat anymore, it's better to catch algae in the sea ;))))

I have never met a more obnoxious and unfriendly waiter in my life. Answer any question through clenched teeth and with sarcasm. We ordered dumplings with cheese. There was no cheese from the word at ALL, but there was a curd mass that flowed out of the dough and they brought us half-empty dumplings. We never ate them. They did not apologize when they showed an obvious defect, so they also punched in the bill. The wine was brought diluted, since this is not the first time we drink this wine and we can understand what's what. There was no such disappointment in the whole of Abkhazia, as from the service in this institution!

We got to Del Mar for the first time in 2020 - then we were just surprised that we found a "decent" place on our coast - we travel here quite often and there has always been trouble with food. And here the kitchen is of a decent level, adequate supply, the price tag is quite acceptable. But then something went wrong. The service is zero, you can't wait for waiters, they walk around as if they are being interrupted from important things (and this year we both went out of season - in May and October, as you understand, there are not many visitors, nevertheless the waiters are constantly busy with something). There is silence in response to our "hello", the waiter rolls his eyes at all questions, and sings the answers through his teeth. Moreover, we fell for different people, all their staff behaves the same way. I would like to ask: are you completely stunned there? In May, the waiter told me the password to the WiFi only when we were already leaving, and then only because I was paying online. Neither hello, nor goodbye, the serving of dishes in October was very different, no cherry tomatoes, people and so on. And the dishes themselves have become completely different from what they used to be. At the beginning of the vacation, we talked in a machine shop (don't even ask what he was doing there) with a gentleman who introduced himself as one of the co-founders of this institution, at that time I told him that this was the only decent cafe in the Fish Factory. So, I take my words back, we went there 4 more times out of desperation (because there is nowhere), but really tired of the boorish attitude. What are you doing with the waiters there that they behave like this?
