A good, comfortable weekend route. 8 km in one direction through a beautiful landscape, among mountains, a stormy river with the purest water. There are many bus stops. We got there faster than the stated time, in 2 hours a hike is suitable for everyone, because walking on a flat road and only at the end of the way there will be a short rise of 20-25 minutes. You can get there by car or use the services of travel agencies.

The place is simply gorgeous!!! The most memorable of the whole trip to Almaty. The road to the waterfall is colorful, the cleanest air. On one side there is a mountain river, on the other there are ancient pines. There are many campers with a tent. From the parking lot, about 2 km on foot, The last 700 meters will have to walk on a rocky surface. In the heat, do not forget to bring water with you

Attention! VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
On June 9, we visited the Kayrak waterfall. The car was left in front of the barrier. On their return, they found MONEY MISSING FROM THEIR BAGS!
Professionals work, they took only cash, cards and documents were left in place. There are no external signs of an autopsy of the car, despite the fact that there are two alarms on the car: regular and star line. They opened it, apparently, through a "fishing rod". Be extremely careful! Do not leave valuables in cars!|

A very good tourist route. The length in one direction is 8 km. The trail, which is a former road, is very wide and during the first 7 km the ascent is very weak and it is very easy to walk. At the last kilometer, the ascent increases and it becomes harder to walk. The views are very picturesque, as the trail goes along a mountain stormy river. You need to choose hiking shoes with a hard sole, ordinary urban sneakers will not work, much less slates and sandals. You need to start the route no later than 12:00, otherwise you will return after dark. In July, there are a lot of wild raspberries and strawberries along the trail. The waterfall itself is also beautiful, but there is little free space right next to it and there is nowhere to fall on a day off. And so benches and tables are installed along the route, it is convenient to make a halt.
I recommend it to everyone - both very young children and pensioners go.
