It's an amazing place, very beautiful. However, if a couple of years ago you could safely park and walk around to take pictures, now the place is fenced with bars, and neither stop nor walk. Pedestrians don't even have anywhere to climb: no sidewalks, no curbs. It's inconvenient, of course. And, well, perhaps it is important to someone: the place is located on the territory of the so-called. The reserve, and entry in 2024 is 700₽/person

The Yupsharsky Canyon in Abkhazia is an amazing place that impresses with its beauty and grandeur. Walking along its winding paths, you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains, river and waterfalls. The gorge is surrounded by dense forests and rocky cliffs, creating a unique atmosphere of natural wildness.
A trip through the Yupsharsky Canyon will be an unforgettable experience for lovers of outdoor activities and nature. The whole road to the Ritz is a delight from the simply unreal, fabulous beauty!😍
I drove my car from St. Petersburg, had the opportunity to stop where the road allows, to admire the beautiful nature of Abkhazia, which simply takes your breath away!))
The road itself is good, the last third before the Ring is serpentines, you need to have some driving experience and be extremely careful) There may be traffic jams at the very top, it's hard to drive away, the road is narrow, especially tight, on weekends.
But, this adventure is worth it!!!
