Typical Turkish apartment.
1. Excellent location for tourists, all the main attractions are extremely close, excellent view from the window. Only for this 3, not 2. BUT if you are in any room except the penthouse, then there is no view, only a trash can in the yard and a crumbling building nearby. The noise was from the establishments nearby even at the end of October, in summer I can't imagine that you can go to bed there before one or two in the morning.
One of the establishments has an entrance next to your door…
2. Overall, the room is decent. BUT, the cleaning is purely symbolic, we settled in, and there were already how many pomegranate seeds on the floor. A dilapidated kitchen, the door lock almost hangs on one nail and barely closes, and so on. The room is just begging for repairs.
3. The staff is quite friendly, they helped with everything, but you don't have to ask much to clean up🙂

Advantages: location from the sights, room size, friendly staff, tea and coffee at the reception all day, low price.
Disadvantages: it is very very noisy in the room, because cars and a tram are very audible through the metal door of the emergency exit; there is a TV in the room, but football and Russian channels do not show; repairs seem to be fresh, but do not work much, the wardrobe, for example, does not close, the heated towel rail does not heat, the shower flows; in the building renovation on the ground floor, those to the elevator you go through whitewash, dust and noise;
the "emergency exit" sign is lit in the room all night and prevents sleep; it is very dirty around the hotel, there are no bathrobes, although they are stated on the booking, there are slippers, but some paper ones, they are generally uncomfortable, everything is done without a soul.

Two stars for a very convenient location (3 minutes to the ferry, buses and trams, 5-7 minutes to the Galata Tower and about the same to Istiklal). That's all, there's nothing more to add!
Cons: the rooms are not just tired, everything is just thrown away. The main thing that just struck me was the EVACUATION DOOR right in the room, 59 cm from the headboard, which does not close and leads stupidly to the street onto a spiral staircase, where a building is under construction five meters away. Well, it's stupidly not safe! How can I leave my things in the room if it's just a DOOR??
Double bed = 2 single beds pushed together, small bed linen with a sheet coming off all the time. It is possible to approach the bed comfortably only from 1 side. One bedside table with 2 sockets. There are two lamps in the room - one floor lamp for one candle, and a light bulb in the toilet. It's as dark as a motel. There is no bar in the closet to hang clothes (well, it is there, it is just torn off by the roots and lies inside the closet, they say you fix it yourself?). The toilet seat is not fixed on the toilet. There is nowhere to put shampoo in the shower, and the shower door closes with a creak. A small watering can. The dryer is rusty, thanks for working. The doors and walls are stained, everything is rusty and dirty, stained. There is not even a simple soap dish or a glass for a toothbrush (there is a mug ...). The entrance to the hotel is through some kind of pasta joint. Reception = reception desk and that's it. Some kind of paper slippers, already transparent (and black socks without slippers).
$ 40 per night, I don't understand why. I lived in much better rooms for this money. I do not pretend to be a luxury, but I have the right to expect simple cleanliness.

For this hotel positioning itself as 4 stars, I'm sorry for one!!! A standard room (according to the photo from the website) with a view of the Bosphorus was ordered and paid in advance. In reality, a room was issued with a view of the wall, with motors from the air conditioners, a neighboring house standing five meters away!!!According to the manager at the reception, these are what they call standard ones!! And if we needed a "view from the window"... then we had to inform you about it additionally!! The money for the reservation was refused to be refunded!!! And it was not possible to move into another room due to the lack of other rooms!!! The room is so small that the supposedly "double" bed (actually two single beds connected) could only be approached from one side, the other side is tightly pressed against the wall and pushed away without an option!!! The narrow window (2 plastic frames) did not close tightly, forming a gap into which the wind and the noise of the street howled! There was also a fire exit door to a spiral street staircase in the room, which was not locked with a key. The room was illuminated by two floor lamps with light bulbs...with the power of one candle!!! In the 1,2* 1.8 closet there was a bedside table, a safe, and a mini-refrigerator (not working in the cold), but exclusively heating one half of the closet!!! The hangers were brought to us later, after comments that they were not observed in the closet!!! The room had a mini table and one chair (in a room for two). The TV was repaired on the second day of our stay in this room!! The shower head was leaking, the toilet seat is not fixed to the toilet, the towel rail is always cold!! The air conditioner did not turn on!!! I didn't find my toothbrush after cleaning! Apparently they decided that there were two brushes...It's too much for two people :))!! The manager's smile can only be attributed to schadenfreude..."How did we manage to get into their fashionable chambers!"! The lobby of the hotel always smelled of instant Chinese noodles, because there was also a point of sale for something like that!! Of all the above, there was a small plus, this is a spa in the basement, so it pulled 3 stars! I'm sure if we were a little more attentive to the choice..for the same amount, we found the best option!!
