Everything is great but price of rooms are a bit higher. Could be 10 to 20% lower. Atleast they could include one boat ride with the room just as they give one complimentary flying theater. Also the shuttle service from harbor building to theater building is mostly not available we stayed 2 days & never saw & use the shuttle except we had to walk except reception says you will get it on these times & when we went there on such times they were nowhere to be found

Turkestan, you are beautiful!
On March 28-29, we were in Turkestan and stayed at the Karavansaray Turkistan Harbor Hotel. I mean, it's a very decent place. Everything is thought out, beautifully, and comfortably. You can even go for a boat ride there, just like in Venice — it's very atmospheric.
I don't know why people write negative things, but I personally really liked Turkestan. The city is clean, well-groomed, the people are kind and helpful. You can see how it is developing. A chic pedestrian alley has been built from the hotel to the mausoleum of Khoja Akhmet Yasawi — a combination of national style and modern architecture. It takes my pride, honestly.
I especially want to recommend the Golden Samruk flying Theater — it's something incredible! It's so exciting that words can't convey it. Be sure to go if you're going to be there.
We sometimes spend a lot of money on trips abroad, and there is such beauty right under our noses! You just need to find time, show your children your native Kazakhstan, and fall in love with it all over again.
In general, Turkestan is about love. I am very glad that we visited there!

"Karavansaray Harbor" is an oriental fairy tale.
The room price included - free access to the hammam, steam room, Finnish sauna. There is also a free voucher for visiting the flying theater;
- The hotel upgraded the room category from Family to Harbor for free (without balcony);
- The room is large, clean, new, beautiful. Comfortable, modern, upholstered furniture. Clean bed linen, soft pillows;
- The designer's work is visible even by the combination of colors and fabrics on the sofa cushions (not to mention the interior of the hotel itself);
- Buffet breakfast was included in the room rate (there were mantas, hazelnuts, cashews ..., not to mention everything, an abundance of delicious food, fruits and vegetables);
- Wi-fi catches on the territory of a large Caravan complex even on the street;
- Daily scheduled shows at the exit of the hotel in the harbor;
- Impeccable service. They asked for water, since they hadn't cleaned yet in the morning - they brought it in 20 minutes.

Taxi prices in Turkestan are also "fabulous".
1. On October 31, Yandex taxi was ordered from the airport (arrival at 13-15) to the Caravanserai, for 3110 tenge. The trip is about 25 minutes, there are no traffic jams, the road is excellent, new. We paid online. There was an offer to evaluate the trip. But today I found out that this order is no longer in the order history!
2. On the same day, we ordered a Yandex taxi to the Arystanbaba mausoleum for 9670 tenge. The driver was waiting at the bottom of a large complex, although the Harbor Hotel was indicated by order, and the driver could not help but know where the entrance and reception of the hotel were. A paid wait began, not knowing where to look for the driver, unsuccessfully tried to cancel the trip several times. We called the driver, and at the mention of the refusal, the driver immediately drove up and was found. The trip started because the program still gave an error to cancel the order. Upon clarification, the driver announced the amount of the order, taking into account the expectation - 9820 tenge. I asked if it was possible to book a return trip, since the Altel network was no longer catching. The driver replied that half an hour of waiting would cost 5,000 tenge, and the way back would cost us 10,000 tenge (that is, the total amount is 25,000 tenge). They paid 10,000 tenge for an hour's drive and refused.
The return trip from the holy place cost us only 1000 tenge per person by passing car (!). And in the history of Yandex orders, this trip is worth as excellent as 1300 tenge!

A very nice clean hotel with excellent service. I really liked the comfortable high beds and the chic breakfast. Everyone has a sense of celebration. And watching the Kyz Zhibek performance from the balcony is a special pleasure! It is very proud to bring foreign guests here

A local man-made landmark.
The part of the hotel is super, good rooms, excellent breakfasts, good service, everything is very friendly.
For some reason, the guides offer a tour of this complex. It is not very clear why, apparently, in order to extend a walk through historical sites (and they are really close, easy to walk) and add to the cost (buying tours around the city via the Internet turned out to be 2-3 times more expensive). Daily activities in the form of singing/dancing fountains and a boat show are beautiful, it is interesting to watch 1 time. Otherwise, it is a large shopping complex stretched along an artificial canal, the hotel is only one of the buildings. The proximity to the historical part and the large territory is a huge plus.

The rooms are large and spacious. I recommend taking rooms with a terrace, offering a beautiful view of the city. Delicious and varied breakfasts. The accommodation includes the opportunity to visit the hammam and tickets for the flying theater. The theater is a 10-15-minute 3D film with the most popular views of different parts of Kazakhstan. You sit in chairs like on an amusement ride and watch a movie with various effects.
I would also like to mention the staff separately. They always helped, gave recommendations and advice and were extremely polite and friendly!!!

It is a very beautiful place that adorns Turkestan. The theatrical performance is at the highest level, there is no such thing even in Europe. Thanks to the akimat of the Turkestan region, who were able to organize and arrange a canal with boats, restore the mausoleum of Yassaui and were able to rebuild the nearby squares and singing fountains. Thanks to Shukeev and the subsequent akims for the wonderful new Turkestan. The Akimat needs to work out and develop a tourism program for guests from other countries, such beauty should be shown and advertised to the whole world.

An amazing place, a wonderful hotel! The prices are decent, the rest is just a fairy tale. The hotel is large and runs along an artificial canal. A large area for walking, a food court, fountains on the lake. The style and design are excellent, the hotel itself looks like a historical place. There is a Flying theater 6D. It is located exactly in the city center, close to local attractions.

The room was huge and clean. The room has a TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, a variety of lighting and backlight options. There are towels and bathrobes, as well as a minimum of necessary hygiene products. You can use the fitness and SPA for free, as well as watch movies and go to the flying theater.

The advantages are common for a hotel of this category: breakfast, service, room, a symbolic surcharge for a child. I will tell you about the disadvantages for a room with a view of the fountain show. Sitting on the balcony you will not see anything, the balcony is made in such a way that you have to stand to see the show. The side of the balcony is wide, it is convenient for pigeons to shit on it, which they do not disdain. But the guest will have to decide something about this to watch the show. In general, if there are not many tourists in the city, then there is no point in overpaying for a balcony.

Excellent staff, very helpful. We were a little disoriented from the beginning..in the second building, they made the driver wait outside, but he decided not to hurry. But otherwise, everything was just great. And I wanted only national food. So I've been living in the Republic of Kazakhstan all my life and I've never experienced such pleasure from national food. The breakfasts are at the highest level. Unfortunately, the rooms already require repair and attention, the furniture is broken, the bathrooms also have many breakdowns and malfunctions. And crazy prices for excursions. For 1.5 hours of excursion to Khoja Ahmed Yassawi, which is located across the street from the hotel, I paid 10 thousand. To go to the excavations of Otyrar through Arystan, women asked for 45 thousand. 60 km distance, excursions are more expensive than in Turkey. There they paid for a long-distance excursion, for the whole day, with meals from 50 to 100 dollars. And here space prices and excursions are not interesting. The guide told a lot, but not consistently, confusingly. I didn't like it at all. It would be better to go and look on the Internet and read. Much more interesting.

One of the best hotels in the city. If the purpose of the trip is to visit the Caravanserai, then I advise you to stay at this hotel because it is convenient, affordable, comfortable and everything is at a good level.
The rooms are clean, all accessories are available, as a gift a ticket to visit the flying 8D theater. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious. There is a Parking lot, a SPA without a pool.
