Amazing site. The area is enormous with lots of ruins. The museum is closed on Mondays, which was when I visited the site. But the security guard was very helpful and vet friendly. I must have spent nearly 3 hours there exploring all of the different ruins on the site. It's rather off the beaten track, so it's a definite must see. Do make sure your Russian is decent. English is not widely spoken outside of the more touristy places near the center of Yerevan.

A branch of the Erebuni Museum is located at the excavation site of the fortress. It is still in its infancy in the form of cabins with security and an excursion center. Yes, yes, a very interesting tour is being conducted around the excavations, including in Russian. The most amazing thing is that during our walk, ancient shards of dishes and various utensils of that era were found right under our feet. The plans include a full-fledged museum, the reconstruction of the walls using the technology of that time, the possibility of using VR technologies (virtual reality glasses) for "virtual walks" through the streets of the fortress. I wish the staff success in all their endeavors and recommend them to visit. PS. Opening hours and ticket prices should be searched on the website of the Erebuni Museum.
